Seo In got annoyed for no reason.

“Come in. Don’t block the door.”

Tae Seong blinked.

“Can I come in?”

“If you don’t, you’ll just stand there blocking the door looking like that. Come in before it gets more embarrassing.”

Cha Tae Seong came in. But instead of striding in like usual and flopping onto the sofa, today he was oddly cautious. He lowered his body, walked with muted steps, and couldn’t even look at Seo In properly.

That was strange too. That crazy big dog suddenly pretends to be shy.

Seo In, in the middle of clicking the mouse, tossed a question at Tae Seong.

“Why do you keep stealing glances?”

“Excuse me?”

“You’re staring at me.”

Tae Seong flinched. Then his response sounded like he was wronged.

“You looked at me strangely first, Senior.”

It was right on the mark. Seo In closed his mouth. His fellow TA wasn’t about to miss this interesting mood.

“What the. Why’s the mood between you two like this again?”

“It’s nothing!”

Seo In cut off the interest. Tae Seong spoke right after too.

“We’re not that kind of thing yet.”

Seo In gripped his pen as if to throw it and turned his head.

“Cha Tae Seong.”

“Yes.”

“Shut up.”

“Yes.”

His fellow TA looked between the two, then laughed, his face saying he couldn’t stand it.

“TA Hong, your reaction’s a little weird these days whenever you see that PE kid.”

“What reaction?”

“You’d have chased him out long ago normally, but you just leave him be now.”

“Shut up.”

“No, really. And do you think I didn’t see where you looked the moment the door opened just now?”

Seo In slowly turned his head. His fellow TA raised the corner of his mouth.

“You didn’t look at his face just now.”

Seo In glared at him with a look that said “want to die?” Then his fellow TA raised his hands.

“Ah, got it. I’ll shut up. It’d be a problem if I died today.”

He turned back to the monitor, shoulders shaking as he held in laughter.

Seo In wiped the corner of his mouth with the back of his hand. His ears were hot. Beside him, Cha Tae Seong was bright red all the way to the tips of his ears. Even so, he opened the book, stubbornly pretending otherwise.

“Hey. Look at the book.”

“Yes.”

“And close your legs.”

Tae Seong froze where he was.

“…….”

“What. Didn’t you understand?”

“N-no.”

Cha Tae Seong immediately closed his legs. It was too immediate, which made it more suspicious. And even that single movement overlapped the shower room scene in Seo In’s head.

Thighs, towel, even the heavy shadow hanging down, all at once.

‘Ah, this is crazy.’

Seo In quickly nailed his gaze to the monitor. He really did seem crazy. A grad-student TA, not some immature undergrad, thinking about a PE freshman’s lower body in the middle of the TA office.

Then Cha Tae Seong called out carefully.

“Senior.”

“What.”

“Can I ask just one thing?”

“No.”

“That thing from yesterday.”

Seo In’s hand stopped.

“……What.”

Tae Seong moved his lips with a face like death.

“Was it really bad?”

Seo In slowly raised his head.

Cha Tae Seong was sincere. He wasn’t joking, he wasn’t fishing, he was genuinely serious. There was even a shadow under his  eyes.

The guy apparently still remembered the face Seo In had made in the shower room, the shocked face at seeing his thing, as a face of disgust. The moment he realized that, a strange irritation surged up inside Seo In.

“Hey.”

“Yes.”

“Are you really stupid?”

Tae Seong blinked, looking hurt.

“Why are you cursing at me all of a sudden…….”

“If it was bad, would I still be thinking about it?”

The words came out first. Silence followed, and his fellow TA’s hand stopped on the keyboard. Tae Seong froze too. Seo In flinched only after spitting those words from his own mouth.

‘……I’m crazy.’

Cha Tae Seong’s eyes slowly widened. Then his whole face flushed.

“Senior.”

“Shut up.”

“My heart right now-.”

“I said shut up.”

“It feels like it’s going to burst.”

“Then let it burst and die.”

“Even so, I think I’d die happy.”

Seo In nearly threw his pen. His fellow TA finally burst out laughing.

“Wow, what the hell are you two?”

“It’s nothing!”

Seo In snapped irritably.
