“What do you think? Did we, or didn’t we?”

If he were being honest, Cielo thought they probably did.

He hadn’t been in his right mind, and if Ryan had said all that, his body probably didn’t stay still.

Ryan stood up and took a step toward Cielo.

Then, pulling Cielo’s hand from behind the door, he closed it and trapped him between his arms.

“Curious how it went?”

“…”

“If you want, I can show you how you did it.”

Ryan smiled mischievously.

Cielo opened his mouth but couldn’t say a word.

…Something was different.

A few years ago, he could’ve said “Don’t say such nonsense and move.”

But for some reason, now, he didn’t want to.

He was curious.

How he acted, and how much Ryan had accepted.

“If you’re embarrassed, you don’t have to say anything.”

Ryan stared down at the smaller Cielo for a long time as if he already understood everything, then bent down and scooped him up.

Startled, Cielo wrapped his arms around Ryan’s neck, and Ryan said—

“You asked me to kiss you. And I told you, if you really wanted it, to do it yourself.”

“…”

“So this is what you did.”

As if recalling that moment, Ryan tilted his head, stuck out his tongue, and gently sucked Cielo’s lower lip.

“You were like a kitten, Cielo.”

Cielo’s face flared up so red it felt like it was burning.

Heat rose even to his cheeks and eyelids. He couldn’t say anything, only opening and closing his mouth.

“You didn’t know how to kiss.”

“W-why do you sound so happy about that?!”

Cielo replied in a barely audible voice, but since their faces were so close, Ryan heard it clearly.

“Because I think I’m your first.”

And he was.

Even as Lee Eunwoo, he had never kissed anyone.

And as Cielo, of course not.

The only person he’d been close to was Oscar—and he’d never do something like that with his disciple.

Thud. Thud. His heart pounded wildly.

It wasn’t the first time their faces had been close, but this time, it made him nervous.

Unable to speak from the embarrassment, Ryan asked again—

“Want to learn?”

“…W-What?”

“Kissing.”

Cielo’s already flushed face turned even redder.

His heart was pounding so hard he feared Ryan might hear it.

“W-Why would I learn that?!”

Flustered, he raised his voice.

Ryan shifted him in his arms and leaned his forehead against Cielo’s, looking into his blue eyes.

“Because I’m full of selfish desires.”

“S-Selfish?”

“Yeah. If you learn how, then during your next heat cycle, you’ll be able to kiss me for real.”

It was absurd.

But… it didn’t feel bad.

“A kiss…”

Cielo swallowed dryly and looked down at Ryan’s lips.

He wanted to kiss him.

He wanted to get just a little closer.

He couldn’t bare every feeling in his heart—but still…

As he stood there unsure what to do, Ryan rubbed their foreheads together and whispered—

“Don’t overthink it.”

Then he lightly kissed the tip of Cielo’s nose and pulled back.

The embarrassment surged again, and Cielo involuntarily released his pheromones.

But Ryan took a deep breath and suppressed the urge once more.

However, Cielo, unaware of what he’d done, continued looking up at him with teary eyes.

“Y-you said you wouldn’t touch me!”

“Hm?”

“You said… you wouldn’t touch me.”

Ryan exhaled through his nose, exasperated.

“That was when you weren’t in your right mind.”

“…”

“If you can refuse me properly, I will touch you. So—bite me if you hate it. I’ll back off.”

Unable to wait any longer, Ryan turned his face away—but his grip on Cielo tightened.
