[♨Unexpected Event♨ 2nd Heat Cycle Attack! The event has ended.]

Good morning! You’ve ended the unexpected event with an unexpected action. How about getting out of bed now?

For ignoring all quests and ending the event, you’ve been given the penalty <Weak for a Week>.

Quest 1: Ruellin Heat Cycle Suppressant Full Dose (Forcibly Terminated) Quest 2: Tristan Rut Suppressant Full Dose (Forcibly Terminated)

Penalty <Weak for a Week>: High fever, chills, cough, abdominal pain, nausea, lasting one week

I expect you to shed the beast’s disguise and handle things wisely next time!

“…”

Feeling like his entire body had been beaten, Ruellin slowly opened his eyes. The first thing he saw was the system window. Was it mocking him?

“Am I sick again…”

He couldn’t believe it. The system was subtly scolding him for ignoring the quests and ending the event. Was he supposed to rush to the infirmary to get a suppressant prescription?

Unexpectedly, his heat cycle and Tristan’s rut had overlapped. Was it necessary to call him a beast? Especially with Tristan, a handsome man, standing naked before him. Anyone would have been unable to resist in that situation. It wasn’t just him. Anyone else would have done the same.

“But why did you attack again? Are you a slave to your desires?”

He found himself rambling in self-defense, then stopped, shocked. He covered his face with his hands and sighed. Once could be excused as a mistake. But twice? What excuse could he make? He had done it again. This time, he had been the one to initiate it. He should just go die.

This would turn into a cycle: twice, thrice, and so on. He was terrified, even though he knew it wouldn’t happen. He didn’t trust himself.

“Cough…”

In the midst of this, he caught a cold. A dry cough racked his body, and his throat ached. It felt like his lungs were tearing apart. Damn the system. It gave him strange events and harsh penalties.

As he coughed violently, covering his mouth with his arm, he sensed a presence beside him. Then, a warm hand gently stroked his back.

Just like last night, touching his bare skin…

The hand softly caressed him, and…

He waved his hand to dispel the vivid memory of flesh.

“S-stop, Your Highness.”

Blushing, he hurriedly stopped Tristan. Tristan seemed dazed, as if he had reached out in his sleep. But when their eyes met, Tristan’s broad shoulders tensed.

“Your Highness should build up your stamina. Your body is too weak.”

“What?”

Then, out of the blue, Tristan scolded him. Suddenly? If he had nothing to say, he should just put on his clothes quietly!

Ruellin glared at Tristan’s straight profile, feeling indignant.

“Whose fault is this anyway?”

“Whose fault?”

“You ask as if you don’t know? If you had stopped when I told you to, I wouldn’t have caught a cold…”

“Weren’t you the one who initiated it?”

“……What?”

Tristan sat up and reached out to him. He gently brushed back the hair from Ruellin’s forehead and smiled softly, his eyes crinkling.

His long, slender eyes formed a gentle curve, and his red lips parted slightly as he spoke in a low voice.

“Last time, and this time too.”

“…”

“You desired me, so it was inevitable.”

“……I guess so, but you could have stopped at an appropriate time…”

“Once started, it’s impossible to stop. You should understand that, being a man yourself.”

He knew it was true, but it still felt unfair and frustrating.

Last time, Tristan had insisted it was Ruellin’s fault, which was even more infuriating. It was better to admit it honestly, but…

Why did he feel so wronged and annoyed?

“Moreover.”

Tristan’s words weren’t over yet.

The grand duke, who had experienced sex twice, smiled slyly, his lips curling up.

“Since you initiated it, you should take responsibility, right?”

“…”

How was he supposed to take responsibility? This time, he truly felt dizzy and lightheaded. He wished he could pass out and wake up a week later.
