How the Villainous Consort Avoids His Death Ending - Chapter 59.1
From the watchtower, the voice of a sailor rang out loudly. For a moment, my heart nearly stopped. Land? Really?
Stopping the hand that had been playing with Kongtteok, I immediately scooped up the child.
“Grand Consort?”
“Your Highness, we can see land. I think we have finally arrived!”
Carrying Constantine, I ran up the stairs and onto the deck. The child bounced in my arms, wrapping his chubby arms tightly around my neck and calling out pitifully.
“Grand Consort! Grand Consort! You are so heavy…! Don’t strain yourself! I am going to be an Alpha, so I am heavy. Put me down quickly! You cannot do this…!”
The harsh sea wind tore at my clothing. Gasping for breath, I reached the deck and noticed the sailors gathered near the bow, clinging to the ship’s railing. I pushed through them and moved forward.
On the horizon, shrouded in thick fog, the shadow of land stretched low. Beyond the faintly visible coastline, the silhouettes of tall spires and buildings appeared.
I exhaled the breath that had filled my throat.
“…We have really arrived.”
After crossing the open sea, we had finally reached the capital of the Sarr Empire, Ashurana Port, now looming before us.
The air, mixed with the scent of the sea and spices, brushed against my nose. As the morning sun rose, the fog that had blanketed the harbor gradually lifted.
The ship slowly approached the port. As visibility cleared, the panorama of Ashurana Port became sharper.
“Wow… Your Highness, this place is really busy. Why are there so many ships?”
“Indeed.”
Tristan lightly nodded as he surveyed the port. It was so crowded that it was overwhelming. Hundreds of vessels, large and small, filled the edges of the docks without a single gap. Fishing boats, merchant ships, warships, and even fleets from nearby countries bearing their flags were densely packed, their sails diverse and numerous.
The shouts of helmsmen, the beating of drums, and the clanging of anchors created a chaotic yet lively atmosphere.
However, the sheer number of ships filled the harbor completely, leaving the docks fully occupied.
Only dozens of ships with flags indicating waiting for berths swayed in the waters in front of Ashurana. From the tall control tower above the port, officials signaled the waiting ships using colorful flags.
“Can we actually dock today?”
Gehardt asked in a tense voice. Tristan furrowed his brow and scanned the docks.
“To get permission for the entire fleet to dock, we will have to wait at least three hours.”
Sir Johannes said expressionlessly. I nodded and looked back at the coastline. By the time we waited, the sun had already climbed high.
After an indeterminate wait, the white flag from the control tower signaled our fleet. A sailor ran to report to Tristan.
“Your Highness, docking permission has been granted. The signal is to drop the anchors!”
Tristan nodded. The knights, who had been watching the control tower with tense expressions until the last moment, collectively exhaled.
“To arrive here without a single casualty… Is this a dream or reality?”
Gehardt held his crucifix and let out a hollow laugh.
The sailors began to move in unison. Soon, with a splash, the anchors fell into the sea. The swaying ship gradually stabilized and finally came to a complete stop.
❖ ❖ ❖
Entering the city felt like stepping into another world. A completely new scene unfolded before my eyes.
The roads, paved neatly with finely cut stones, curved endlessly in smooth arcs. Colorful geraniums bloomed beautifully along both sides of the streets.
Small canals crisscrossed the city like a spiderweb. On each arched bridge over the canals, intricate lotus patterns were carved. People crossed the bridges, trailing long garments, and others walked in pairs wearing soft, almost transparent silk shawls, creating a lively scene throughout the city.

“Grand Consort! Grand Consort! You are so heavy…! Don’t strain yourself! I am going to be an Alpha, so I am heavy. Put me down quickly! You cannot do this…!” = I’m so heavy
I think this story needs an editior. Or maybe someone looking over it afterwards. I’m just skimming over the text atm, I’ll prob re-read it but it’s obvious when you are just reading a sentence someone says to someone else like in the example I posted.
