I Became the Tyrant's Beloved Omega - Chapter 21.1
In a room at the corner of the monastery’s fourth floor, Noah, who had been deep in sleep, suddenly opened his eyes and bolted upright. Noah’s entire body was soaked in cold sweat.
“Aiden.”
It was Aiden, who had not shown himself even once in a dream in the year since he had left for the capital, Kalis. But this dawn, the six-year-old Aiden who appeared in a dream for the first time was shedding thick teardrops before Noah. Noah could not forget the sight of Aiden from the dream just moments ago.
From then on, sleep would not come, and Noah had to toss and turn all night. At the sight of the surroundings brightening bluish, Noah slowly got up, took a quick shower, and went down to the church a little earlier than usual.
“Noah.”
Johan, who had officially become a monk after taking his perpetual vows, would wake a little earlier than the others and offer personal prayers in the church.
“Johan, you’re out early again today?”
“Why are you out this early?”
“Just… I couldn’t sleep.”
Having spent a long time together, Johan could easily guess the mood of Noah, who normally did not have much emotional fluctuation.
“What, is there something worrying you?”
“……”
“Tell me.”
From then on, Johan began to press Noah, who was trying to hold back his words. After hesitating for a long while, Noah cautiously opened up about the dream he had had this dawn.
“Aiden was crying?”
“He had the appearance of when he was six.”
Johan found Noah, who was worrying needlessly over Aiden’s appearance in a dream, absurd.
“…It’s a dream.”
“I know. But I just worry for no reason.”
“He’ll be living far more comfortably than us. He’s the Crown Prince of a nation, after all….”
From then on, Johan began to nag Noah.
“Somehow, the one who needs to become mentally independent isn’t Aiden, but you, Noah.”
“Ha… is that so?”
“Don’t go around opening your mouth about worrying over Aiden because of a dream. Everyone will laugh at you.”
“They would, wouldn’t they?”
While Johan was reassuring Noah, people began to enter the church one by one. The two quietly closed their mouths and began to pray again.
After the worship service ended, the abbot approached Noah as he was leaving the church.
“Noah.”
“Yes, Abbot.”
“A person with severe burns has come to our monastery.”
“Ah… how did such a thing happen?”
“But the thing is… he seems to be a knight, though I don’t know which territory’s knight he is. Still, since a person is injured, pretending not to notice didn’t seem like the right thing to do as a human being….”
“A person is injured, so what could be more important than that?”
At Noah’s soft smile, the abbot also gave a faint smile. Then he moved toward where the injured person was.
“Can you treat him with an Aqua Ball?”
“Of course.”
Noah carefully knocked on the door of the room the abbot led him to. Opening the doorknob and entering the room, Noah frowned without realizing it at the sight of a burn patient more serious than he had expected.
“Ah… aah….”
“Are you in a lot of pain?”
“Ah, it was a demon! It was definitely a fire monster!”
