When I played the game in the past, I often saw upper-tier awakeners of rank 5 or higher combining ‘mana’ with their inherent abilities.
Since an awakener’s power itself comes from mana settled within their body, using both together was a natural extension.
-But even if you understand the theory of mana usage, the extent to which someone can actually wield it varies greatly by awakener.

I closed my eyes tightly. Concentrating all my senses behind my eyelids, I felt a warm sensation within.
The absolute skill I gained upon descending into this world was called ‘Adaptation.’

Based on the mana manipulation theory Echo transmitted, I ‘adapted’ to the flow of mana within the body of the awakener Seong Do‑yoon.
I gathered the calmly circulating mana and condensed it, combining that solid energy with Seong Do‑yoon’s awakened ability, ‘Hawkeye.’
When I opened my eyes, they felt as hot as fire. The rock golem looked slightly different from before.
On its solid surface, a few blue targets appeared as if someone had marked them.
These were probably the weak points identified by adding mana to Seong Do‑yoon’s Hawkeye.
And those points could not be damaged by mere stone. Mana had to be channeled into them to inflict damage.
My next task was simple.
Imbue the revolver itself with mana so that even the bullets fired would act as condensed mana.

The first bullet, glowing with blue mana, hit the blue target on the golem’s shoulder. The impact broke the shoulder.

Two consecutive shots hit the other arm holding the axe, splitting the rock joint and shattering the hand. The massive axe clattered to the floor.
The rock golem, now unable to use its arms, lunged toward me with a sudden speed unlike before. The two swordsmen pointing their blades nearby jumped back in surprise.
My eyes felt even hotter. The blue points on the golem’s body became more distinct.
I dodged the golem charging as if to ram me and aimed the revolver steadily.
Bang!
The side of the golem’s head exploded.
Bang, bang!
Large penetrating wounds appeared on its flank and leg.
I narrowly avoided flying rock fragments and spun the revolver with one hand to open the cylinder. The sound of shells hitting the floor rang out.
Dodging the golem’s staggering attacks, I crouched, pulled bullets from my belt, and reloaded the cylinder instantly.
When I stood directly in front of the golem on the debris-strewn floor, I noticed the right shoulder glowing especially blue.
Bang!
With a series of loud shots, the golem’s right shoulder exploded. Along with the fragments came a black core, effectively its heart.
The upper body of the massive golem collapsed backward.
Cracks spread from its neck to chest, and from chest to abdomen like lightning.
Shattered like broken glass, the golem no longer moved.
“Phew…”
I exhaled deeply, closing my eyes. I relaxed the over-concentrated nerves in my eyes.
‘Almost cried.’
Maybe because I had kept them open too wide.
My eyes stung painfully. I rubbed them with the back of my hand holding the revolver. The heat was intense, and a bit of moisture appeared.
‘I’ll have to be careful when I use this.’
Even using it briefly, my eyes felt like they would pop out, burning like fire. If I used it too long, it seemed it would strain my vision.
