In the end, the table was a total disaster. Plates streaked with meat grease, half-eaten ramen broth, crushed snack crumbs scattered everywhere, and sauce stains dripping down the sides. It was a scene that made you not even want to start cleaning.

As everyone wondered who would clean up the mess, Joo I-rip, still high on dopamine from the earlier game, made another suggestion.

“Hey, let’s play a game. Loser cleans up everything.”

At that moment, no one thought, Wouldn’t it be faster if we just cleaned together? Everyone immediately shouted, “I’m in,” while secretly thinking, “As long as it’s not me.”

The chosen game was “Zombie Game.”

One person keeps their eyes open while the others wear blindfolds and wander around the room trying to catch that one person. When someone gets caught, the attacker stops the timer the moment the caught person shouts “I surrender!” The person with the shortest time becomes responsible for cleaning up.

The first player was Joo I-rip, the one who came up with the idea.

As expected from someone that crazy, he dodged around the blindfolded members while letting out eerie laughter. When someone grabbed his arm, he twisted his body to slip free. When someone caught his shoulder, he shoved them off with his back. By the time he was finally caught, his arms and legs had been pinched, bitten, and smacked, but instead of giving up, he screamed like a madman and kept resisting. “Kkhahahahk!” He cackled wildly, provoking everyone, and lasted an unbelievable fifteen minutes. He really seemed more and more insane.

The second player was Go Hee-min. Since he was usually slow and relaxed, everyone thought he’d be easy to catch. And sure enough, less than three minutes in, he shouted, “Ah, damn it! I surrender!” Joo I-rip burst out laughing beside him, teasing, “You gave up way too fast.” Go Hee-min glared at him and snapped, “You bit my calf!” I was surprised, since I’d never seen Hee-min get that angry before, but Joo I-rip only giggled even harder, which somehow made it scarier.

The third was Lee Soonbok.

He was unexpected. I thought he’d endure well since he was secretly stubborn, but he surrendered in less than five minutes. The culprit, again, was Joo I-rip. The moment he caught Soonbok, he bit his cheek, knowing he wouldn’t hold out otherwise.

The fourth was Kwon Ji-hak.

He lasted barely two minutes before surrendering. Apparently, as soon as he got caught, Joo I-rip tried to pull down his pants. Suddenly, I felt a chill of dread. My turn was next, and I had no idea what Joo I-rip would try to do to me.

Then, finally, it was my turn.

The moment the game started, a cold shiver ran down my spine. To avoid being caught, I deliberately stomped around, making loud noises as I moved quickly through the room. But Joo I-rip seemed to have read my movements. He chuckled lowly, “Kukukuk,” and charged at me like a beast possessed.

As soon as he grabbed me, he sank his teeth right into my head. The pain was real, but what shocked me more was the fact that he bit my head. The surprise and confusion hit me all at once, and I couldn’t take it anymore.

“I surrender! I surrender!” I shouted after barely thirty seconds. Furious, I smacked Joo I-rip hard on the back.

Ha… It was clear now that I’d be the one cleaning up. I honestly couldn’t tell if Joo I-rip was a human who’d gone insane or if insanity itself had taken human form. I was irritated, but I couldn’t stop laughing, and all my strength drained away.

The last player was Baek Jae-heon.

Honestly, it felt like a free round for him. Joo I-rip had exhausted all his energy on the previous members, and everyone else already assumed I’d be the loser anyway. Besides, with Baek Jae-heon’s athletic reflexes, we expected him to last at least ten minutes easily.

But as soon as the round began, Baek Jae-heon lasted less than three seconds before shouting, “I surrender.”

“What? What was that?”

“Wait, is Jae-heon done already?”

“Did he just surrender?”

All of us, including me, took off our blindfolds and stared at him in disbelief. Joo I-rip was holding Baek Jae-heon by the arm, but even he looked shocked.

“No, like… Baek Jae-heon came to me on purpose and let himself get caught?”
