No Love For The Villain - Chapter 40
Her ears rang with tension, the edges of the world blurred.
In the moment when only one person came into clear focus, Sierra slowly pressed her lips to his.
It was an awkward kiss, clumsy as her tongue searched inside his mouth.
Eli allowed anything Sierra did and offered his body freely. Her lips softened, and Sierra exhaled a rising breath.
While she steadied herself, Eli watched her and wiped her damp lips. His fingertips, rubbing from her lips to the corner of her mouth, were gentle and careful.
It felt as though he knew what she wanted without her saying it. As though he knew that what she really wanted wasn’t the kiss itself, but that gentleness—that she would desperately drink in anything that might be mistaken for affection because her heart had gone faint.
When his touch reached her like that, she felt she wanted to laugh and cry at the same time.
She didn’t know why. She had long forgotten how to speak words that could carry her heart.
Red, white, yellow, blue. And black.
Just as colors become clear only when given names, emotions too needed names.
The emotions that had long lost their names had all tangled together into sadness.
So by his side, she felt scared, and happy, and angry, and in the end she just wanted to cry.
She wanted to pour out the emotions swelling in her chest until it hurt.
“I want to cry…”
When she said that, Eli tilted his head slightly and pressed his lips to hers.
His tongue slipped in slowly, intertwining with hers without a gap. When their locked lips rubbed together languidly, it felt almost like he was coaxing her— go ahead and cry as much as you want.
When the roof of her mouth was brushed, an unfamiliar sensation surged over her.
She couldn’t think of anything else.
All her sad thoughts vanished.
The sharp stimulation scraped away her gloom.
Her chest tingled with the fierce pounding of her heart.
Their lips parted.
Sierra drew in a ragged breath.
“Haa…”
Half dazed, she barely managed to steady her breathing. Eli examined Sierra’s wide eyes and confirmed she still hadn’t cried.
He wrapped his hand around her knee.
“Uh….”
Sierra gasped at the cold touch on her heated skin. Eli’s hand slipped between her parted knees. A cold leather glove brushed the inside of her thigh.
Sierra grabbed Eli’s arm and hurriedly spoke.
“It’s cold. The glove…”
At that one phrase, his retreating hand swept along her thigh and slipped out from beneath her skirt.
With her tension suddenly released, Sierra pitched forward as if she were going to collapse.
Eli wrapped one arm firmly around her waist.
Sierra saw him bring his gloved hand to his mouth. His lips, damp from their kiss, bit into the cuff of the glove. With a rough twist of his head—like tearing into the neck of prey—Eli pulled the glove off.
White, straight fingers, neat fingertips, strong joints—hands flawless in their beauty.
Eli spat out the removed glove and took his fingertips into his mouth. His index and middle fingers, pressed together, slipped past his lips.
He wet the fingers thoroughly with his tongue until they were slick.
Through his parted lips, his red tongue appeared now and then. The sight of his saliva-slicked fingers sliding back out from between his lips was starkly explicit.
Eli etched that dangerous stimulation directly into Sierra’s two eyes.
His wet hand slipped under her skirt again, leaving a slick trace along the inside of her thigh.
Following the slow stroke of his hand over her underwear, Sierra felt as if her body were being redrawn.
Parts of herself she had never been aware of, shapes she never knew, came into sharp definition wherever he touched.
Feeling her underwear growing damp, Sierra jerked her toes and grabbed the collar of Eli’s shirt.
The heavy pulse pounding in her chest seemed to spread downward—to her lower belly, and further still. A chill ran through her; she was afraid.
Unfamiliar sensations, ones no one had ever taught her, awakened under his hand.
Sparks burst in her head, her whole body stiffened.
It felt as though something knotted deep inside her was about to burst apart.
The moan spilling from her parted lips gradually took on the shape of a sob.
“Hh—…”
Her eyes burned unbearably hot.
Her grip on Eli’s shirt collar tightened.
Eli’s touch suddenly grew rougher, as if answering the Sierra clinging to him.
The dizziness peaked to its limit.
As Sierra’s head tipped back, Eli reached for the nape of her neck and he caught her with his hand, supporting her.
Her heart pounded as if crying out.
Sierra felt a plunging sensation, as though she were slipping into the depths of the black eyes watching her.
Everywhere Eli’s touch passed, she was soaked through—and suddenly, tears burst out. Eli kissed the corners of her eyes where the tears flowed. He gathered her tears with the tip of his tongue.
Heavenly Father, forgive us our sins, and deliver us from evil…
