In fact, it was harder than picking stars from the sky to avoid meeting for a week, as they were not only in the same guild but also on the same team that had to prepare for dungeon raids together.

Nevertheless, the reason Da-sol and Jae-gyeong were able to avoid meeting even once was because, like in some old song lyrics, Da-sol was always one step behind Jae-gyeong.

20 meters ahead, Jeong Jae-gyeong spotted.

Jae-gyeong was a person whose daily life was quite routine. Da-sol had learned this from staying together for a week, and he became even more certain while they were going to mock training together until recently.

Jae-gyeong woke up at 7:00 AM and exercised alone in his room for 30 minutes. Then he would come out, wash, change clothes, and prepare breakfast.

He seemed to eat simply when he was alone, but if Da-sol was there, he was the kind of man who would stir-fry spicy pork in the morning. He would even place a whole bowl of lettuce and various side dishes made of greens on the table, worried that Da-sol might only eat meat.

And at 10:00 AM, he would head to the guild for mock training and then do physical conditioning at the gym. Since hunters might have to wander inside a dungeon for up to several weeks, he cultivated his physical strength by doing harder strength training and cardio after an already grueling mock training session.

With his morning schedule like this, he naturally had to eat lunch late, and he tended to have a hearty meal around one or two o’clock. Then, if there was work, he would process tasks at the guild or go home and attend to personal business. He seemed to use his phone often, and he appeared to enjoy watching videos on Hun-Tok quite a bit.

Then he would eat a simple dinner (though he ate heavily if Da-sol was there), do some chores, wash up, and go to sleep around 11:00 PM. That was Jae-gyeong’s unchanging daily routine.

Once you know a person’s daily pattern, it becomes easy to both meet and avoid them. Da-sol always moves about three to five minutes later than Jae-gyeong. This was because if he left too much of a time gap, there might be a chance of Da-sol entering as Jae-gyeong was finishing training and coming out.

Da-sol entered mock training a little later than Jae-gyeong, left once he heard the sound of Jae-gyeong exiting, skipped the guild gym usage entirely for the week, and used the gym within his apartment complex instead.

And he would hide near the apartment, confirm Jae-gyeong going inside and taking the elevator, and after seeing the elevator stop at the 8th floor, he would take a different elevator himself.

He solved all his meals through delivery. This was because he might run into Jae-gyeong if he went out to eat.

In reality, over the past week, Jae-gyeong had deliberately frequented pork cutlet restaurants, Korean restaurants selling spicy pork, and neighborhood marts to find Da-sol. Da-sol knew these whereabouts because he had been watching the outside from the 12th floor with binoculars.

Da-sol felt secretly satisfied that Jae-gyeong was looking for him, but he soon became angry.

Must miss Seo Da-in’s face that much, huh?

He could not stop these kinds of twisted thoughts from recurring. Honestly, Da-sol had been acting so cold and rude all this time, so it was strange that Jae-gyeong was sticking to him so gently and letting everything slide.

To think that it was all because of Da-sol’s face. To be exact, Da-sol’s face resembled Da-in. Whenever he had such thoughts, his mood would plummet endlessly, and he would often become depressed.

It was rare for Da-sol to feel depressed instead of anger or annoyance, but for this past week, he had been almost submerged in depression.

‘This is all because of that bastard Jeong Jae-gyeong.’

When he reached that conclusion, what could he do? He had no choice but to continue desperately avoiding Jae-gyeong.

Recently, Jae-gyeong’s afternoon routine seemed to have changed to searching for Da-sol. He sent many messages to Da-sol and made phone calls once in a while with long intervals. He seemed to think that calling too often would be rude, and he let out a bitter laugh because even that was so like Jeong Jae-gyeong.

There were days when he would cautiously press the doorbell of Da-sol’s house. But since Da-sol would never open the door or make any sign of being there, he stopped doing that soon enough.

If it were Da-sol, he would have banged on the door, pounded it, and shouted, but Jae-gyeong never used such methods. In the past, he would have understood that it was because of his gentle personality, but now, perhaps because his insides were twisted, he thought, That just means you are not that desperate.

As it approached 11:00 PM, Jae-gyeong sent a long Hun-Tok message. Several messages arrived, but looking at just one of them, the content was like this. The content was similar anyway.
