Amidst the deluge of questions, Ian spoke calmly.

“It was all possible because the members of the Stigma Guild fought so bravely.”

A humble and gentle smile. Ian drew upon the superficial demeanor he had maintained during his days as a Saint.

“But isn’t it true that the reason every awakened person emerged safely without injury was due to your healing, Mr. Choi Ian?”

“I merely worked hard according to the will of Lady Regnasia.”

The sound of reporters typing paused for an instant.

“Is the ‘Will of Regnasia’ a name for a new skill, or is it…”

In response to the reporter’s bewildered question, Vermouth, who was standing behind Ian like a shadow, took a step forward. The unapproachable, holy aura exuded by the handsome knight overwhelmed the journalists.

“She is the God who shall save this barren land with merciful light. It is because of Her, the Goddess of War and Benevolence, that we are able to fight.”

Vermouth declared this in a firm yet polite voice, devoid of even a hint of doubt. In an instant, a silence fell over the scene as if cold water had been poured over it.

A new God appearing so suddenly in modern society. It was a story that some might scoff at, but they lived in an era where monsters already emerged from Gates.

“Could it be that a new God has appeared?”

“No, what are you talking about? No matter how I hear it, that name sounds strange. Isn’t it a cult?”

“No way. If that were the case, would S-grade awakened ones be the ones claiming to believe in it?”

“Hmm.”

Various conversations broke out among the reporters. They wanted to ask Ian more questions, but he offered a polite bow and turned away.

One cannot be full after just the first spoonful. The goal at this first Gate was simply to firmly plant curiosity and doubt within the public.

After that day, Ian’s relentless march began.

He visited a succession of A-grade Gates exclusively managed by the Stigma Guild. Busan, Daejeon, Gwangju. Gates that had been on the verge of bursting all across the country were settled with surprising peace following a single visit from Ian.

The result was the same every time.

Casualties and injuries: “Zero.” And an overwhelming reduction in clear time.

Awakened ones who had been on the threshold of death emerged perfectly fine, their limbs regenerated by a single flash of Ian’s light. A miracle that governed life itself, something that could never be explained by mana. That unbelievable sight was broadcast into the living rooms of the entire nation for days on end via live news and small drone cameras.

And every time Ian emerged after clearing a Gate, he repeated the same words before the microphones without a single lapse in composure.

“This power does not belong to me alone. It is an authority bestowed by Lady Regnasia, the Goddess of War and Benevolence.”

“A heart that sincerely wishes to save someone, and a firm faith. If you have those two things, anyone can reach this miracle.”

Three times, four times, and then five.

As the undeniable, perfect miracles continued to accumulate, public opinion, which had initially mocked or doubted Ian’s words, began to flip.

The internet and social media were on the verge of exploding with talk of Ian and Regnasia.

— I really thought it was just some new cult at first, but did you see the Busan Gate live stream? A hunter whose guts were spilling out hit a flash of light once and came out doing a tap dance.

— But isn’t Regnasia a total unknown? I searched for it and nothing came up, so which God is she exactly?

— When monsters are pouring out of the sky, why does the origin matter? If it’s a God that reattaches your arms and legs even if they get sliced off, I’m planning to bury my bones in the Order of Regnasia starting today.

— Agreed. He said anyone can use that ability if they have faith, even without talent, right? I believe in Regnasia too. Re-men.

The bait Ian scattered—that “anyone can use this power”—perfectly paralyzed the reasoning of desperate people pushed to the edge of life.

The media and the public naturally gave Ian a moniker, as he saved people from hellish Gates every time while dressed in pure white clothes.

[The Saint of Miracles, Choi Ian, Achieves the Myth of ‘Zero’ Casualties Again Today!]

[Where the Saint’s Light Touches, Death Does Not Exist. Regnasia, Is It a New Salvation?]

“Saint.”

The title people used to call Ian on the Lancia continent began to pass from mouth to mouth here on Earth as well.
