【Welcome to the Tower!】

Is this the Hunter who performed well in the Tower yesterday? I was passing by the Association and saw someone who looked like her, so I snapped a picture lol (14)
(Photo)
Oh wow, that really looks like her! You got so close!
Yep, that’s definitely Hunter Seo Joo-ah lol. This is way clearer than the photo the admin posted.
┗ 22
┗ Seriously, the admin’s photos are terrible.
┗ 33
Who is she? I only hang around the Free Bulletin Board, so I have no idea.
┗ Didn’t you see what happened yesterday? The community went wild over Hunter Seo Joo-ah! She’s low-rank, but she defeated an SS-rank boss all by herself lol.
┗ Wait, she’s low-rank? How did she take down an SS-rank monster???
┗ Didn’t you see the admin’s post yesterday? It went viral immediately.
┗ Really? I gotta go check it out lol.
┗ It’s ‘happened,’ not ‘happend.’ (Correcting a typo in Korean.)
Did you guys know? Hunter Seo Joo-ah’s backstory is straight out of a novel (34)
Hunter Seo Joo-ah is currently C-rank, but when she first entered the training center, she was only E-rank lol. She got looked down on by tons of other Hunters, but then her rank went up really quickly. Bet the people who looked down on her are kicking themselves now lol. I also heard she was accidentally assigned to a top-ranked group for training. Reality really is stranger than fiction lol.
Oh, that’s pretty interesting… Tell us more.
Her current team is super famous, too. Hunter Shin Jae-rim is my favorite ㅠㅠㅠ
I love stories like this ㅠㅠㅠ
So that’s why I was wondering how a C-rank Hunter ended up on the same team as the top-ranked Hunters.
┗ Rumor has it the Chairman recognized her potential and assigned her to a top team.
┗ No, she bribed the Chairman with a ton of money to get into a higher-ranked team. My sister is a Hunter, and she witnessed it herself.
┗ Whoa, that’s disappointing.
┗ Didn’t they say her dad is a congressman?
┗ I think so. He’s always on TV.
┗ Her wealthy background sounds like something straight out of a novel, too…

Notes: C-rank Hunter Seo Joo-ah demonstrated impressive knowledge of the monster, contributing greatly to the team’s success.
Ugh, the admin’s photos are so bad! Get closer!!
┗ LMAO, the first comment is already cursing out the admin ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
┗ This is hilarious ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
┗ Admin, are you seeing this? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
Oh, Hunter Seo Joo-ah’s team got called out this time?
Whoa, that monster looks terrifying, but Hunter Seo Joo-ah looks so calm lol.
┗ That’s what makes her even cooler ㅠㅠㅠ She looks delicate, but she’s mentally so strong ㅠㅠㅠㅠ. If it were me, I’d be crying and running away…
When did this team become Seo Joo-ah’s team?
Wow, look at Hunter Yoo Chan-hee’s smile ㅠㅠㅠ He’s so handsome ㅠㅠㅠ Smile more ㅠㅠㅠ
This board is about to explode lololol. Hunter Seo Joo-ah is no joke.
┗ But posts about Team B are always popular.
┗ True. Hunters Yoo Chan-hee and Shin Jae-rim have so many fans here lol.
┗ Why are you leaving out Hunter Choi Yeon-joo? Everyone on Team B is popular.
“…So noisy.”
Joo-ah stared indifferently at the bustling community window, which had been flashing nonstop, and tapped ‘Hide.’ Only then did the blue system window fall silent.
The only reason she’d opened the community in the first place was that it reminded her of old memories she hadn’t revisited in a long time.
Back when she hadn’t yet opened her eyes in this body, the community had always been flooded with stories about her.
【Name: Kwon Eun-young (Elite)】
【Level: SSS-rank】
【Ranking: Korea No. 1 / International No. 28】
【Attribute: Darkness】
【Special Skill: Black Flame】
That was who she had once been.
Hunter Kwon Eun-young, the number one Hunter in Korea.
Now, she was merely a C-rank Hunter, still considered low-ranking.
<Now, let’s begin the quest!>
A strange-looking rabbit perked up its long ears and shouted.
<Since two teams have entered Floor 490 at the same time, let’s play an interesting game!>
A white door appeared in the darkness.
<Pass through that door and return here as quickly as possible! Only the first team to arrive will receive a train ticket!>
As the rabbit spoke, the opposing team began entering the door.
There was no need to hesitate.
Once they entered the quest area, they would receive a more detailed explanation.
“Hunter Seo Joo-ah, are you okay?”
Jae-rim looked back at Joo-ah and asked.
“This quest will probably match you against one of the other team’s members in a one-on-one fight.”
He was concerned about Joo-ah, whose rank was significantly lower than those of the other team members.
Joo-ah nodded.
“I’m fine. I’ll do my best.”
“Yes, you’ll probably be matched with someone around your rank anyway. There’s no need to worry.”
Yeon-joo, who was standing beside her, patted Joo-ah on the shoulder.
When two or more teams met on the same floor, Tower quests were usually structured as team-versus-team competitions.
Since they had encountered another top-ranked group, Hunters of similar ranks would likely be matched against one another.
The lowest-ranked member of the opposing team was B-rank, an opponent Joo-ah could handle.
“If you get even a little hurt, withdraw immediately.”
Chan-hee, standing behind her, brushed his hand over Joo-ah’s dark brown hair and muttered.
“I won’t get hurt.”
She met his gaze and smiled calmly.
“Let’s go in.”
After checking her inventory, Yeon-joo spoke.
Only then did the team move toward the door.
Jae-rim placed his hand on the doorknob. The door leading to the quest area slowly swung open.
<I sincerely wish you an enjoyable match!>
The rabbit’s voice was the last thing they heard before the door closed behind them.
Click.
“What the hell? I expected Yoo Chan-hee to come in, but they sent some small fry instead?”
As Joo-ah entered the quest area, she spotted an opponent from the other team standing in the middle of a wide clearing.
【Name: Kang Ho】
【Rank: S-rank】
【Ranking: Korea No. 19 / International No. 136】
【Attribute: Fire】
【Special Skill: Flame Vortex】
【Special Notes: His intense flames cannot easily be extinguished by ordinary water-based abilities.】
A flicker of surprise crossed Joo-ah’s face. This was an unexpected opponent.
She had naturally assumed she’d face someone of a similar rank, but the man standing before her was the highest-ranked member of the opposing team.
【Quest: ‘Who Can Make It Back the Fastest?’】
【Engage in a one-on-one match against a randomly assigned opponent within 30 minutes. Once the opposing team member is incapacitated, an exit door will appear!】
【Quest Success: Train Ticket】
【Quest Failure: Fall】
A timer appeared in the air and began counting down.
Kang Ho smirked at Joo-ah arrogantly.
“Well, if they’re going to make this so easy for me, I’m not complaining.”
He suddenly lunged at her, flames blazing around his hand.
Joo-ah tried to dodge, but he was so fast that the flames caught her uniform. She hurriedly patted them out before casting Enhancement magic on herself.
A golden light shimmered around her body, temporarily strengthening her defense.
Seeing this, Kang Ho sneered.
“Seriously? This is insulting. They matched me against a support-type Hunter.”
He pulled a longsword from his inventory.
Swish!
The sharp sound of the blade slicing through the air sent a chill down her spine.
Kang Ho flashed her a grin.
“I’ll finish this as quickly as possible.”
He charged at Joo-ah, swinging his sword at incredible speed. She barely had time to react, let alone draw a weapon from her inventory.
The blade narrowly missed her, cutting through the air beside her. Her dark brown hair, which had been tied up, came loose and fell over her shoulders.
Her stamina was rapidly depleting.
Kang Ho coated the sword in his hand with red flames. The scorching heat dried out the surrounding clearing.
Watching him approach, Joo-ah quickly swallowed a Mid-Grade Mana Recovery Potion.
Kang Ho laughed mockingly.
“You really think restoring your mana is going to make a difference?”
Joo-ah answered calmly.
“It will make a difference.”
She pulled a Taser Gun from her inventory. Kang Ho curled his lip into a sneer.
“Don’t tell me you think you can beat me with that pathetic little gun.”
Anyone watching would have found the scene absurd.
A mere C-rank Hunter daring to face one of the few S-rank Hunters in Korea.
“We’ll see,” she replied, her expression unchanged.
“I don’t see why I can’t win.”
Her confident response made Kang Ho’s eyes flash with anger. Flames erupted from his hand.
“Fine. Let’s see you try!”
He charged at her, his entire body engulfed in flames. A swirling vortex of fire formed around him as he advanced.
The ground shattered wherever he passed.
Joo-ah extended her arm, aiming the barrel of her gun directly at the center of Kang Ho’s fiery vortex.
The chaotic clearing suddenly fell silent.
She pulled the trigger.
BANG!!!
The mana-infused shot burst from her gun with an enormous roar.
【Quest ‘Who Can Make It Back the Fastest?’ Cleared!】
【Reward: Train Ticket】
【Due to the activation of a ‘Team Quest,’ a ‘Special Privilege’ has been added to the reward.】
Joo-ah returned the Taser Gun to her inventory and began walking.
A black circle formed around Kang Ho’s fallen body in the center of the clearing.
Without a sound, he was pulled down into the depths below.
Joo-ah opened the door.
He
r teammates were waiting on the other side, smiling leisurely. They had already completed their quest.
And so began the story of Hunter Seo Joo-ah, a story that would come to light after a long time.
