Incubus in Hunter’s Clothing

Gillian, fast asleep in the soft bed, let out a groan. The sensation of his body growing hot and tingling brought his consciousness back up from where it had sunk far below. He felt dizzy and distant, and even opening his eyes was difficult. He barely managed to crack them open and looked at the being touching him however it pleased.

“You’re awake already. Impressive. Do you know who I am?”

“…Rassel?”

The figure, which had looked like a pitch-black shadow of a tree, began to glow brightly. As though kneading clay and adding flesh to it, the figure gradually took shape and transformed into Rassel. Something wearing his appearance had come to him.

“You must like that man called Rassel. Even though you only met him today?”

It asked with a laugh in its pleasant voice.

Gillian thought for a moment about the man called Iber, or Rassel. His uninhibited, free-spirited manner, his warm way of speaking, and his open smile. Gillian liked his radiant appearance and beautiful body as well. He had told Gillian plenty of interesting stories, and whenever Gillian teased him, he would jump in outrage.

Gillian gathered his concentration and opened his eyes. He had fallen asleep at an inn in Hamutis, but everything around him was endlessly black as pitch. Although the bed stood alone in the vast darkness, strangely enough, he could see the figure before him clearly.

“Are you the Demon King?”

The being wearing Rassel’s appearance lowered its hand and stroked Gillian’s face.

“You’re so lonely. I thought I’d comfort you and take a little of your vital essence in return.”

“Ah, are you perhaps an incubus?”

Gillian had faced and subjugated all manner of demonic beasts and demons, but he had never received a visit from an incubus in the middle of the night. The unfamiliar experience left Gillian somewhat excited. An incubus he had thought existed only in books and other people’s stories was right before his eyes.

“If you’re a demon, you should be able to see the curses hanging over me. Aren’t you afraid?”

“Don’t act so smug. Do you think I’d bat an eye at a few curses?”

The incubus climbed on top of Gillian’s body with a confident smile.

“Even if they are frightening, it’s still better than starving to death. You won’t wear out just because I have a taste of you. Besides, you’re giving off such a delicious smell that you’ve probably been starving at least as long as I have. Just look at yourself. You aren’t even surprised to see me. The moment you surmised I was an incubus, you started looking forward to it, didn’t you?”

The incubus began massaging Gillian’s manhood through his trousers. Gillian hesitated for a moment. Because the curses he had received made him avoid becoming deeply involved with others, he had naturally ended up living a life of abstinence and chastity.

As a result, no one had touched his body in the past several years. Even the medicine vial containing bleaching solution was filled to the brim and sloshing, so it seemed there was no one else to whom he had given his heart.

Although the incubus had barely touched him, Gillian was already aroused. Every place the warm hand touched felt good. However, the incubus’s appearance made him uneasy.

“Change into someone other than Rassel.”

“That’s up to you, Gillian. I came in the form you desire most.”

Gillian pressed the back of his hand against his forehead. It was true that he had taken a liking to Rassel unusually easily, but he hadn’t realized it was enough for an incubus wearing Rassel’s appearance to visit him.

Gillian was confused, but he understood. He was old and lonely, and the day of his death had already been decided and was drawing near, so it was only natural that his heart would grow weak. Even when he tried to think of someone else, no one came to mind except his lover who had died long ago. Sleeping with an incubus wearing Rassel’s form was a hundred times better than sleeping with one wearing his dead lover’s form.

“This is a problem. How am I supposed to look him in the face tomorrow?”

“Don’t worry. By tomorrow, you probably won’t remember much.”

“Even the way you speak is similar. That must be one of your abilities.”

The incubus smiled alluringly and lightly kissed Gillian’s lips.

“I’m acting just like him because that’s what you want. Say my name. What’s my name?”

“Rassel. Rassel Iber… I didn’t know I wanted you this badly. You did catch my eye, ah…”

The incubus slipped a hand beneath Gillian’s shirt and pulled it upward. It curled its fingers like claws and dragged them down his exposed skin. His chest and abdomen contracted with tension, making the muscles stand out.
