The Villain’s Aide Has Run Away - Chapter 39.2
***
“As you already know, His Highness the Crown Prince had urgent business and entered the Imperial Palace.”
At Robin’s plain explanation, Prince Tarensiu, who had been looking up at the sky, lowered his head.
“Go.”
“I shall guide you.”
Even though the order was short and open to interpretation, Robin calmly moved forward. His appearance resembled Leslun’s, yet for some reason, he looked sharp—like a blade.
When Leslun had been asked for cake, he had guided them into the city, but Robin would likely have gone straight to the Imperial Palace or simply ordered the Academy’s dining hall to bring cake.
For unplanned outings, one never knew what accident might occur. Robin’s method was to prevent such situations from happening at all.
Even now, after seating Prince Tarensiu in the large carriage he had prepared in advance, Robin directed it straight toward the Imperial Palace.
With only a change of aide, the atmosphere grew subdued. Robin kept his mouth shut unless he had something truly necessary to say. No doubt his intent was to cut off Prince Tarensiu’s impulsive actions in advance.
‘How dull.’
If it were Leslun as aide, he would have filled every moment with chatter, never leaving room for boredom. Prince Tarensiu fixed his gaze out the window, watching the hawk that followed him.
Unlike the hawk, free to soar where it wished, he himself had no freedom. He could not change the name the world called him by, and restrictions followed him wherever he went.
“Leslun.”
Prince Tarensiu recalled the image of Leslun’s face flushing red as he ate cake.

Always at times when he seemed to want to run away.
Kailos’s eyes looked as though they were speaking exactly that.
Kailos knew well how much Leslun longed to go to the library. Yet after coldly refusing, saying the library was out of the question, he had brought him instead to such a fine place.
Leslun couldn’t guess at his true intentions.
“Why is that?”
“Well…”
Kailos’s hand touched the buttons of Leslun’s formal uniform. Click. The gold-embroidered button, fastened tight, came undone. The clothing loosened, but his heart still felt as though it were being squeezed shut.
“I told you already.”
Kailos’s breath drew nearer.
His lips, close to the curve of Leslun’s ear, spilled low and smooth words.
“I said this was a place where no one would disturb us. Or do you want an even more detailed explanation?”
Leslun sucked in a startled breath. Even in the cold air, the lobes of his ears burned hot.
“No. No, that’s not…”
His words trailed off, and his gaze naturally dropped to Kailos’s hand.
It was still moving across his undone buttons.
“Why? Is it not enough?”
“Absolutely not. Only… I wondered if I should even be allowed in here…”
While Leslun spoke as though it weighed on him, pop—a sound made him stiffen. It was the sound of the Crown Prince undoing the buttons of his trousers.
‘Why is he… undoing my clothes…?’
Seeing his reaction, Kailos laughed as though amused, and then pressed their lips together.
This was the second time. And yet, Leslun’s mind still went blank as if bleached white. When Kailos gave his tongue the faintest bite against his teeth, shivers ran across his body.
In the meantime, Leslun’s clothes fell piece by piece to the floor.
Only after a long while did Kailos finally break away from the kiss. Leslun was left panting as though he had been running.
“I can tell exactly what you’re thinking right now.”
And though he knew, Kailos swiftly undid the last buttons of Leslun’s shirt. That hot hand did not yet touch his bare skin, but Leslun flinched in fright.
Soon, Kailos’s palm came to rest upon Leslun’s rapidly beating chest, pressing warmth into him. Then, almost casually, he slipped his hand beneath the shirt and, as if by accident, brushed across a small nipple. The little body jerked sharply, which amused him.
Even in that moment, Leslun still wore a naïve expression, as though he did not understand what was happening to him. The more innocent, the greater the urge to sully—that was human nature.
“I didn’t bring you in here because you’re my aide.”
“Uhk—”
At Kailos’s single remark, Leslun tried to speak, but instead a startled groan escaped first.
“It’s fine. If you don’t want this, we’ll stop here.”
The words were gentle, but his voice was overwhelmingly seductive.
It was a way of seeming to grant freedom, while in truth stealing away all choice. Leslun’s lips trembled.
He had to answer, yet even catching his breath was difficult.
He knew that unless Kailos himself stopped, no one would ever enter this space.
While Leslun struggled over what to do, Kailos barely held back a laugh that threatened to spill.
‘If I don’t stop, he might let me strip him completely.’
