Transmigrated as the Side Top used as an Emotional Trash Can - Chapter 6.1
“……! Let go of me-!”
I heard Glasses’s shrill voice from where he had been smoking in the distance. When I turned toward the source of the commotion, I saw Glasses pinned against the wall as though he were being crumpled beneath the grip of a large drunk man.
“An Omega… You’re an Omega, right? Hehe… You’re pretty….”
“Fuck…! Get lost!”
There it was, an Omegaverse cliché. A pretty Omega getting molested. I ran over without a second thought.
“Mister, you started it, okay-?!”
Clang!
“Ugh…?!”
With no time to think, I swung my helmet and struck the drunk man’s head with a loud clang!
Crash-.
The drunk staggered before tripping over his own half-removed pants and falling.
Now was my chance!
“Sorry! I’m going to carry you for a bit!”
“Ugh-?!”
I left the drunk man where he was, lifted Glasses into my arms, and placed him on the motorcycle. I started the engine and took off, intending to get as far away from this place as possible.
“Where are we going right now?!”
Glasses raised his voice so his question wouldn’t be drowned out by the motorcycle and the rushing wind. In truth, I hadn’t decided. But I didn’t bother telling him because it might make him anxious. I merely grabbed his branch-thin hands as they flailed awkwardly around my waist and repositioned them so he could hold on to me properly.
Somewhere far from here where we could rest. There was only one place I could think of. I never imagined I would use my emergency funds somewhere like this for the first time.
Screech-.
“We’re here. Let’s get off.”
After we had ridden through the biting wind for quite some time, I let him down. Glasses glared at me with an expression similar to the one he had worn when that pervert grabbed him.
“Are you fucking insane?”
A provincial highway, the site of the fiery neungi mushroom chicken soup affair.
We were standing in front of Palace Motel.

Room 307 of Palace Motel.
Inside the purple room, with the sound of the shower running in the background, I stared blankly at the light fixture filled with dead bugs and muttered.
“But what exactly was the penalty I was supposed to receive this time?”
A warning had appeared saying I would receive a penalty when the world became an Omegaverse, but I couldn’t feel anything different. I had received one penalty from each of the two world settings, the ‘Zombie Apocalypse’ and the ‘Omegaverse.’ I only knew they had been imposed. I had no idea how they had been applied.
“Wow, this is seriously ominous….”
Wasn’t there a system that could show me the penalties?
I spread my palm toward the ceiling and shouted solemnly.
“…Status window!”
……Nothing appeared.
“…Th, then, skills?!”
Once again, nothing appeared. I was so embarrassed that I had shouted something so cringeworthy into empty space that I lay on the bed, kicked my feet, and spun around a full 360 degrees.
No, wasn’t that the basic rule of game stories? Status! Status window! Skills! Why did I have to anxiously wait for a status window that only appeared whenever it felt like it, while the system dragged me around by the collar?!
“What are you doing?”
Glasses seemed to have finished showering. Dressed in a motel robe, he approached while shaking the water from his damp hair.
“N, nothing…! Oh, right. I bought you some clothes.”
This was an unmanned motel on a provincial highway with very little traffic. Even buying a simple change of clothes required riding for more than twenty minutes.
“Why did you buy something like this?”
“Your clothes got scraped against the wall and were really dirty.”
I couldn’t just let him keep wearing clothes that had been dirtied while something awful was happening to him.
“But what kind of clothes….”
〈Hwacheon Sancheoneo Ice Festival〉
It was a T-shirt with such a clumsy design that it looked as though some employee who had never touched Photoshop had been stuck with the task and struggled through it in tears.
There truly had been no other choice. At this hour, it was the only clothing I could urgently buy with the cash I had on hand.
“…….”
Glasses stared silently down at the Hwacheon Sancheoneo Ice Festival T-shirt, and even his complexion seemed gloomy. I wished he would at least curse at me like usual. His silence made cold sweat bead all over me.
“Oh, um…. Mint really suits you-!”
I gave him an overly enthusiastic thumbs-up and winked repeatedly, but he remained as silent as though his lips had been zipped shut. Had the T-shirt been so ugly that it shocked him? What should I do?
“Sh, should I give you my clothes instead…?!”
As I grew increasingly restless and fidgety, Glasses looked at me and quietly asked.
“…Why are you being so nice to me?”
Why was I being nice to him? I simply wanted to. Couldn’t that be a reason?
“Uh, ah, um…! Just because… you’re pretty-?”
His expression looked so dark that I made a pointless joke. But his face showed no sign of brightening. The words had already spilled out, and I couldn’t take them back, so I merely moved my lips and watched his reaction. I hadn’t expected him to hate it this much. What could I say to make him feel a little better….
“I just… couldn’t stop worrying because you were sick…. I was concerned about you….”
If it weren’t for me, you never would have become an Omega, and you never would have gone into a heat cycle. I looked up at him with a dejected expression, trying to appear as pitiful as possible.
Glasses made a rather complicated expression, bit down on his prominently red lips, then released them and spoke.
“Do you want to sleep with me too?”
