Transmigrated as the Side Top used as an Emotional Trash Can - Chapter 70.1
As I listened to the conversation, I grabbed Kim Jihwan’s cheeks and squeezed them, showing his face to Kwon Jayoon.
“But what if the victim has a face like Jihwan’s?”
“?!”
Kim Jihwan looked startled for a moment, then glared at me with such murderous eyes that it seemed like he might cut off the fingers holding his face. Even while glaring, his beauty didn’t diminish, so Kwon Jayoon seemed to understand what I was getting at and gave a slight nod.
“If he looks like this, there’s also a chance someone from outside snuck in and stole his things.”
Phew, I’m proud to have gotten Kim Jihwan’s beauty acknowledged again today.
I smiled in satisfaction and quickly removed my fingers before they could be cut off. Beautiful things were innocent. The problem was that sinners coveted beautiful things.
“Kim Jihwan, when did your things start getting stolen? Do you have a stalker or something?”
“Dunno about a stalker. My stuff started disappearing in the second semester. During the first semester, it was just….”
Kim Jihwan quietly muttered a curse.
From that reaction, I could more or less tell what he was talking about too.
The semen on his gym uniform. Wasn’t that around the time I used Affection Coupons targeting Kim Jihwan? What if the Kim Jihwan incident and the Affection Coupons had actually been separate matters?
“Jayoon-ah, how do you think we can catch them?”
“We have to fucking stake the place out until they show up. Or install a CCTV.”
“If we catch them, would the police get involved?”
“The stuff is too minor, so probably not. The adults would probably just tell the guy to apologize and end it there.”
I looked at Kim Jihwan and asked.
“What do you want to do? If we catch them? Are you going to tell your parents?”
At the mention of his parents, Kim Jihwan’s mouth tightened and his gaze dropped to the floor. It seemed like he didn’t want to worry them.
“…I’ll put up with it a little longer. If they steal something like my phone, I’ll report it.”
“Do whatever. I’m going back to play jokgu.”
Kwon Jayoon gave a brief goodbye and left. Kim Jihwan slowly closed his eyes as though frustrated and took a moment to steady his breathing.
Then he sat down and took out his academy homework like usual. His movements were rough as he opened his pencil case.
“Gwonhyeok-ah. Come outside with me for a sec.”
I led Cha Gwonhyeok out of the classroom.
Then we walked a little and headed toward the tucked-away space beneath a staircase.
“There was a place like this?”
“The kids told me about it too. Apparently even the teachers don’t really know about it.”
When I lightly nudged the snack wrappers and cigarette packs scattered across the floor with my foot, Cha Gwonhyeok flinched as though I had nudged him instead.
This makes it look like I brought him here to bully him.
Cha Gwonhyeok had become shamelessly playful with Kim Jihwan, but he still acted cautious around me sometimes. Especially when it was just the two of us.
“Gwonhyeok-ah, what should you do when you have a strong suspicion but no physical evidence?”
“…Are you talking about Jihwan’s thief?”
“Yeah. I have someone I suspect, and the timing lines up too, but I can’t pin anything on them.”
“You can fabricate physical evidence, and you can make up suspicion if you need to.”
Just as expected of an obsessive top. Look at that complete lack of distinction between good and evil.
Judging from what he had just said, he seemed to lean slightly more toward evil than good.
“Gwonhyeok-ah.”
“Yeah.”
I wondered if I should make more active use of Cha Gwonhyeok.
If I was already making use of the system, then if I could use the abilities of the people around me too, I should.
“When you said you were going to teach Byeongjun a lesson before, what were you planning to do?”
Even as I asked, one corner of my chest felt heavy.
Now that I was actually about to use him, I felt strange. Why did I feel like this? Was it because I was dirtying someone else’s hands instead of my own?
Cha Gwonhyeok readily said he would help me.
I wasn’t particularly curious about why he wanted to help me. Was this what Jihyeok-hyung had meant when he said I judged things as ‘unnecessary information’?

“Sunbae, can I call you Hyung?”
At lunchtime, Cha Gwonhyeok spoke to Hyeonjin-hyung first. The way he gently raised the corners of his lips into a smooth curve made him look polite and relaxed.
“Huh? Y-Yeah….”
“Thanks, Hyung.”
Hyeonjin-hyung reacted awkwardly to Cha Gwonhyeok, who was suddenly acting familiar with him. But he didn’t refuse the conversation.
“You can talk casually…. I don’t mind.”
“Really? I don’t turn down offers like that-.”
“Wow, you dropped the honorifics immediately. Hehehe, you’re funny-.”
Even though they had only exchanged a few words, Cha Gwonhyeok quickly became much closer to Hyeonjin-hyung, whom he had kept an awkward distance from until now.
That meant if he put his mind to it, he could’ve gotten this close to him at any time.
As expected, he really was naturally gifted at winning people over.
