At that sound, Felix stopped moving, and Rueg curled up tightly, covering his mouth.

“Um, I…”

Rueg squeezed his eyes shut and quickly tried to steady his thoughts. But it was hard to immediately grasp what Felix’s words from earlier really meant.

Is he saying he’s interested in me?

Or if not, does he mean that since I crushed and rubbed against the most sensitive part of a man’s body with my butt, I should take responsibility?

‘B-But then, why…’

Why isn’t he disgusted when it’s me, a man?

Rueg bit his lower lip, then slowly lifted his gaze to meet Felix’s eyes.

The moment their eyes met, the crimson irises staring straight at him made his breath catch.

“W-Why are you looking at me like that…”

“……”

“Th-This too… I mean, of course it’s the most sensitive place, so I guess it makes sense, but…!”

If he were honest, he wanted to get up immediately and run out of the bath.

But it felt like he shouldn’t leave without hearing Felix’s answer. If he ran away now, he felt like he wouldn’t be able to bear the self-loathing that would come along with all kinds of ridiculous fantasies.

“…Because you’re just too lovable.”

“……”

“I know I should hide it, but I can’t. I like you too much to hide it.”

As if he had been waiting for the question, Felix spoke the words he had been holding inside.

As if he had wanted to do this for a very long time. He had been suppressing those feelings until now, but could no longer endure it.

Holding Rueg around the waist, Felix brushed against his ear and slowly moved his hips. The sensation of the head pressing against the soft flesh of his plump behind made Rueg’s face turn even redder.

“I-I’m a man… If you say things like that to another man… strange rumors could spread.”

“The fact that you’re talking about rumors instead of how you feel makes it sound like what I’m doing right now doesn’t disgust you.”

“……”

“So, can I take that however I like?”

As those unexpected words sank in, Rueg felt something damp against his shoulder.

Felix had lowered his head, burying his face in Rueg’s shoulder and biting gently into the tender skin.

“Y-Your Highness…”

Someday, Felix would come to like Yuri.

So acts like this, something this intimate, should be done with Yuri, not him.

He knew that with his head, but his heart and body wouldn’t let him pull away from Felix.

“Rueg.”

Holding his waist tightly, Felix let out a hot breath.

After pressing insistently against him for some time, Felix clenched his teeth, stopped moving, and asked,

“I’ll give you one chance.”

“……”

“If you don’t want to be entangled with me like this, say clearly that you don’t want it, and leave the bath.”

The moment he heard that, Rueg unconsciously held his breath. Even though it was only a simple instruction to refuse and leave if he disliked it, it felt as if his heart dropped deep inside his chest.

“But if you say nothing and don’t leave this place… I’ll take it as permission, that you’re giving me both your body and your heart.”

“I, I don’t…”

I should refuse.

Reug knew that there was no place for him by Felix’s side, so he shouldn’t be greedy.

“I don’t dislike it…”

Every morning, whenever their eyes met, the pounding of his heart had already said everything.

He wanted to be greedy.

Even if only for a moment, he wanted to become part of Felix’s life.

Even though he knew he shouldn’t, even though he knew he might be hurt someday, he wanted to fly toward him like a moth to a flame, to become hopelessly entangled with Felix Ejordia.

‘…Is this how Versha in the novel ended up dying too?’

What was the point of confidently introducing another man to Versha to change the original story, when he, her twin, had ended up falling so deeply for Felix himself?

“You don’t dislike it?”

Repeating Rueg’s answer, Felix slowly lifted the hand that had been around his waist and untied the loose strap hanging from Rueg’s shoulder.

“Look at me, Rueg.”

As if asking him to face him again like before, Felix slipped a hand between Rueg’s sides and lifted him.

Rueg’s body turned, and their gazes collided in midair.

“Then you don’t dislike this either?”

As he asked, Felix sat Rueg on his lap and pulled him close.

Just as their breaths came close enough to mingle, Felix tilted his head slightly and leaned in even closer.

“……!”

The moment Rueg squeezed his eyes shut without realizing it,

A large tongue slowly licked across his tightly pressed lips.
