Becoming the Terminally-Ill Villain Who Torments His Disciples - Chapter 114.2
Upon Chief Yoon’s words, Taehyuk nodded and rose from his seat. As he walked out of the office without a word, the stunned Chief Yoon let out a dry laugh.
Chief Yoon had been serving beside Ji Taehyuk for eight years now.
Though he often struggled from lack of sleep, he had lived his life without a trace of disarray. He had never once seen Taehyuk lose focus at work, let alone act this restless. This was a first.
“Looks like he’s finally met his match.”
A deep smile spread across Yoon’s face.
“Eunwoo’s Favorite Random Game! Game start! Game start!”
Eunwoo mouthed along in the midst of the chaotic drinking party. Bizarre songs he’d never even heard before were blaring from every direction, and anyone who was even slightly late got hit with a “fool’s shot” and had to down their drink.
‘Seriously…!’
This rowdy drinking culture was strangely enjoyable.
Back in the days when he lived as “Cielo,” Eunwoo had learned never to show any signs of being drunk in front of others. The world of nobility had been a razor’s edge—everyone constantly scheming to tear each other down.
But drinking in this world felt far more relaxed than he expected.
Even with flushed noses from the alcohol, people laughed loudly and chatted without restraint. It wasn’t a place where formality and manners were demanded—it was a space where one could just be loud and carefree.
“Want me to be your black knight, hyung?”
When Eunwoo lost another game and picked up his glass, Haegun smoothly took it from his hand and asked.
“Black knight?”
“I’ll drink for you, hyung. In return, you have to grant me one wish.”
“A wish?”
“Yup. A wish.”
Haegun looked at him with eyes that sparkled almost too intensely.
Noticing the gaze, Eunwoo gave a gentle smile and took back the glass from Haegun’s hand.
“It’s okay. I’m not drunk yet.”
“But you said this was your first time drinking. If you drink too much all at once, you’ll feel it tomorrow.”
“Really, I’m fine. I think I have a higher tolerance than I expected.”
Despite the pressure of the intense gaze, Eunwoo smiled awkwardly and downed the drink in one go.
Soju had a weaker alcohol content than the liquor he had drunk back when he was “Cielo.” It even left a slightly sweet taste on his tongue. Beer, by comparison, felt more like a fizzy soda.
Technically, it wasn’t Lee Eunwoo’s body’s first time drinking—it was just his first time drinking in this body as its current inhabitant.
Thankfully, Eunwoo seemed to handle alcohol quite well. Even though there were already more than two empty soju bottles on the table, he didn’t feel particularly unwell. His vision was slightly fuzzy, but he was still conscious, and his speech was clear.
“If you say so, hyung…”
Haegun backed off reluctantly, clear disappointment on his face.
The atmosphere continued to warm, and eventually, people began getting up, saying it was time to move on to the next location.
“You’re coming to round two, right, hyung?”
“Round two?”
“Yeah, we’re just going to switch places and drink more. Somewhere quieter, with different snacks and stuff.”
Speaking as if explaining to someone who’d been locked away studying his whole life, Haegun gently clarified, and Eunwoo nodded.
“I do want to go, but… I should probably get going. It’s about time.”
“You’re going home already? Hyung, do you have a curfew or something?”
“Not exactly…”
Eunwoo glanced at his phone.
9:30 p.m.
He hadn’t been at the gathering for that long, having joined late—but if he wanted to avoid being late, he’d have to leave soon.
“It’s your first time drinking with us… Can’t you stay a little longer?”
Haegun gently grabbed Eunwoo’s wrist as he asked.
The look in his eyes, his touch—it all clearly revealed his interest in Eunwoo. Caught off guard, Eunwoo couldn’t hide his discomfort.
Just as he was about to come up with a way to politely refuse—
“Lee Eunwoo.”
A quiet voice—one that had no reason to be here—sounded behind him.
