Becoming the Terminally-Ill Villain Who Torments His Disciples - Chapter 26.1
Sol, scanning Cielo up and down with a languid expression, opened his mouth.
“You smell delicious, Cielo.”
The moment that voice hit his ears, the same voice echoed nearby like a hallucination.
“You smell delicious.”
With that sticky voice came a slightly younger-looking version of Sol.
Outstretched hands.
When two pairs of hands touched Cielo, the Alpha pheromones clung to his entire body. At that moment, Duke Esteban’s loud scolding rang out, and the hands were pulled away.
“What a shame.”
As if they truly regretted it. The two furrowed their brows and stepped back.
“Well then, next time.”
Their snake-like grins were thoroughly repulsive.
But that wasn’t the only scene that appeared.
Pielago, with a clenched fist as if ready to strike, and Sol simply standing by and watching. Even as Cielo cried and begged them to stop, the two only hit and tormented him like he was a toy.
They said something to each other during it all, but Cielo couldn’t understand their words.
As if his mind refused to recall it, the memory wasn’t clear.
Every recalled fragment was torn and clawed apart, full of wounds, as if he had tried desperately to forget.
But one thing was etched into his body.
‘I have to run.’
That was what the memory burned into his body was saying.
That he must not face them.
That he had to run right now.
‘These people are definitely…’
People who never appeared in the novel. In other words, people only the real “Cielo” knew.
As Cielo hesitated and stepped back, Sol spoke with a lazy smile.
“You always tremble when you see us, Cielo. I don’t get why. I heard that the crown prince you were supposed to marry went missing. If he disappeared in the North, it’s pretty much as good as dead, right? So that makes you a widow now, doesn’t it?”
“Exactly. A widow. And here you are, giving off that sweet scent like you’ve got a mate.”
Pielago, with one hand shoved in his pocket, stepped forward. Wearing a wide grin, he let out a warm breath.
“Wanna play with your big brothers?”
A flood of fear poured over Cielo’s head.
His blood went cold, and a wave of indescribable terror consumed his entire body.
Just as Sol and Pielago’s hands were about to touch him—
“He has a mate.”
A large hand reached from behind Cielo and wrapped around his shoulder, pulling him into an embrace.
“…Doberman.”
Sol ground his teeth and narrowed his eyes. Looking up at Ryan, he tilted his head.
“Didn’t hear you two were dating.”
“It’s a secret.”
“In that case, you’re not married or even engaged, so it’s not your business. Step aside.”
As Sol reached his hand out again, Ryan lifted Cielo up in one motion.
Perhaps not wanting to see their faces, Cielo curled into Ryan’s embrace.
Patting Cielo’s back rhythmically, Ryan responded.
“Doesn’t matter if we’re married or not. The fact that you’re trying to touch my partner is what’s wrong.”
“What’s wrong with that? He’s an Omega carrying the Esteban name.”
“In the Esteban family, Omegas are treated like toys. So what’s wrong with us playing with our toy?”
Sol and Pielago responded together to Ryan’s words.
They wore expressions of genuine incomprehension.
“Hah.”
Ryan already knew the Esteban family were Alpha supremacists, but he hadn’t realized they saw Omegas as less than human.
If he had known…
He clenched his teeth without realizing. A sharp sound accompanied the release of thick pheromones.
When you’re supposed to cherish someone gently, afraid they might break if touched wrong—
But these so-called brothers treated him like nothing more than a plaything.
“R-Ryan…”
Because of the pheromones flowing from Ryan’s body, Cielo began to tremble.
Hearing that small voice, Ryan pressed Cielo’s head against his chest, pulling him in tighter.
Still shielding Cielo, Ryan growled at Sol and Pielago.
“Try treating Cielo like that in front of me one more time.”
“…”
“And I’ll burn down every estate under the Esteban name.”
Leaving that threat behind, Ryan carried Cielo in his arms and walked past them.
“Hah…”
Watching Cielo and Ryan’s retreating backs, the twins’ blue eyes gleamed coldly.
