Becoming the Terminally-Ill Villain Who Torments His Disciples - Chapter 6.1
Cielo asked the knights to prepare cleaning supplies.
He had wanted to ask the palace staff to do the cleaning, but he was told that this area was off-limits to anyone who wasn’t a high-ranking noble or key figure of the imperial palace.
“Master, I will clean everything thoroughly. Please rest comfortably.”
“No.”
“…Pardon?”
“I’m the one being punished. Why are you cleaning? Hand me that broom and go sit down and read a book.”
“B-but I can’t let you clean all by yourself…!”
Almost every time they went to the West Tower, this sort of exchange took place.
Oscar thought it made no sense for Cielo to be cleaning alone, while Cielo didn’t want Oscar to touch anything dirty.
Just like that, a week passed.
Yawning widely at the break of day, Cielo left the room to head for the West Tower again.
In the quiet, undisturbed silence—since no one said a word first—he walked on until Oscar, who had been following closely behind, hesitantly spoke up.
“Master, are you feeling better now…?”
“Are you asking me?”
“Yes… You seemed to be in a lot of pain last time…”
Fidgeting with his fingers, Oscar kept dropping and lifting his gaze toward Cielo repeatedly.
That endearing behavior made Cielo slowly reach out his hand. Oscar shuddered slightly at the approaching hand, but unlike before, he didn’t tremble violently or raise his hands to protect his head.
Cielo, who had moved his hand slowly on purpose to ensure Oscar could see, gently patted his head.
“I’m not in pain anymore. Thanks to your concern, Oscar.”
“…R-really?”
Oscar widened his eyes and asked again. His usually pale cheeks now glowed with a faint flush—it was truly endearing.
It had only been a week, but perhaps due to being fed properly, Oscar’s complexion was gradually improving.
‘So cute…’
It reminded Cielo of a wary kitten that was finally starting to open up, and without realizing it, he clutched his chest.
He wanted to kiss Oscar’s cheeks and hug him tightly, but… doing so would definitely scare Oscar out of his wits.
‘You can’t just treat a child recklessly.’
Just as Cielo was grumbling to himself,
“Well, that’s a shame to hear.”
a low voice rang out.
When he turned toward the direction of the voice, Oscar visibly flinched and quickly bowed deeply.
Seeing Oscar be more polite than he had ever been with anyone else, Cielo also greeted the man with proper form.
“Ha! Got your senses back after taking a punch, huh? Can’t believe I’m seeing you greet me.”
“…Are you speaking to me?”
Ash-gray hair. Gray eyes.
He thought he might know the man, but no—he was a stranger. And his appearance hadn’t been described in the original novel.
‘Was there someone like this?’
He wasn’t the type to skim when reading. He hadn’t finished the novel, but he was certain—no one with this hair color appeared.
‘Is he an extra? Or someone who died before the story began?’
While still pondering, an excruciating pain suddenly split his head.
“Ugh…!”
With a short groan, his ears started to ring like voices were echoing from far away, and strange visions flashed before his eyes.
“I told you to move, Your Highness. Are you hard of hearing?”
“They said you’d go into heat soon. Guess you’re still sane, huh.”
The sound of a belt buckle being undone.
He twisted his body to escape, but a strong force pinned down his arms and lower body, rendering him immobile.
At the same time, a thick, repulsive pheromone clung to his breath.
The more he inhaled, the hotter his body became—but the only emotions welling up inside were disgust and hatred.
“L-let go…!”
“Did you know Duke Esteban wants to make you my mate? So stop resisting, be a good boy and spread your legs.”
