Don't You Need an Omega Lucky Charm - Chapter 29.2
Ha-on was about to reply, but his voice got stuck in his throat for a moment. Even while admiring how nice the space was, his heart felt as if it were racing wildly at words that poked through like this out of nowhere.
Trying hard to hide such emotions, Ha-on smiled again, pretending to be unbothered.
“This is all about laying stone paving for the future, so I ought to watch with enjoyment.”
“Look to your heart’s content.”
As if he had no intention of stopping him either, Cha Jeongwon stood by Ha-on’s side.
Although he had the excuse of holding hands, it seemed like he was intentionally accompanying him around.
Ha-on, feeling Cha Jeongwon’s heart like that, was suddenly looking at his face instead of the suite room.
“Looking at my face won’t lay any stone paving for your future.”
Cha Jeongwon gave a rebuke, but Ha-on did not turn his head away.
“Since I’ve looked at all of the room, I’m just looking at something else.”
“That ‘something else’ is me?”
“Since we’re dating, we should act like people who are dating.”
“I’m doing that right now, though.”
“We should make it a bit more obvious.”
As soon as he finished answering, Ha-on pulled Cha Jeongwon. And then he lightly pushed him down onto the sofa.
Then he sat down as well and leaned against Cha Jeongwon. Upon doing so, arm touched arm, and their shoulders and thighs naturally touched as well.
It was much closer than when they sat side by side at the restaurant earlier. Pheromones leaked out even more naturally as well.
The scent of the Alpha mixed naturally with the indoor air. Although various scents were mixed together, such as the fabric detergent smell unique to hotels and the smell of furniture, the thing that broke through all of those and came in first was still his scent.
“Let’s take a picture.”
Ha-on slickly pulled out his phone and turned on the camera.
After turning the screen toward himself, he adjusted the angle so that both of their faces came into a single frame.
“A lover’s anniversary selfie.”
As he spoke, he tried to bring his face even closer, but a hand reached out from the side and lightly pushed the phone away.
“Don’t take it.”
“Why.”
“It’s only for a week, anyway.”
So it meant there was no need to deliberately leave behind things worth remembering. It was a truly Cha Jeongwon-like thing to say.
“That’s why we’re leaving it behind as a photo, at least. A photo is the only thing through which we can reminisce that we actually dated, isn’t it?”
If he says he dislikes taking photos even after I’ve said this much, what should I do?
What do you mean what to do, keep persuading him, of course.
Cha Jeongwon said nothing.
Though his air of finding it bothersome remained the same, he didn’t snatch the phone away or shove it aside.
This is an okay signal, right?
Ha-on captured even Cha Jeongwon’s face in the frame and spoke as if whispering.
“Two, three!”
Click!
Ha-on, after checking the photo, muttered with a serious face.
“I smiled way too widely.”
In contrast to that, Cha Jeongwon boasted distinct features, but his expression was still hazy.
It meant he hadn’t smiled. If it’s like this…
Ha-on showed the photo to Cha Jeongwon.
“Doesn’t it look too much like only I’m the one liking this?”
Cha Jeongwon’s gaze fixed on the photo.
“It’s true that I asked to date, and I asked to take a picture. Even so, please pretend to like it a little.”
If he made it obvious that he was the only one liking him like this, he felt unsure whether it was really dating. Of course, it was a time-limited relationship proposed by Ha-on first, but dating is dating, isn’t it?
“Shall we take just one more?”
Ha-on slyly asked once more.
“Preferably smiling together, or scowling together is fine too. Ah! How about making a video where I give a signal and we both smile widely at the same time, or pretend to sleep?”
Cha Jeongwon gently pushed Ha-on’s phone away.
“Shall we order room service?”
And as if he would do it himself, he let go of his hand and stood up. The disappointment of the pheromones and warmth moving farther away lasted only a moment, and Ha-on looked at Cha Jeongwon.
“Does he like eating?”
Whenever anything happens, he looks for food.
For the record, Ha-on was full from eating his fill at the restaurant.

Turning on Netflix, they laid out the foods ordered through room service. It didn’t seem much different from the restaurant, but the only thing different was that they could sit squeezed a bit closer side by side on the sofa.
Ha-on scanned the foods Cha Jeongwon had ordered.
“That…”
Crème brûlée where if you lightly tapped the surface, the sugar crust felt like it would crack right open, tiramisu with cocoa powder piled high on top, pastel-toned macarons in one-bite sizes, and even a rich chocolate mousse topped with toasted marshmallows.
Just looking at them made his tongue throb with sweetness. He was already starting to miss kimchi stew.
