I Became the Tyrant's Beloved Omega - Chapter 22.1
Grand Duke Humore set his wine glass down on the table and rose from his seat.
“Find even a small weakness that can shake Aiden.”
“Understood.”
Ben, the captain of the knight order, had grasped Grand Duke Humore’s intent. He gave a light bow and hurried out of the dining room. Grand Duke Humore began to cool the faintly rising tipsiness, facing the cool breeze coming in through the open window.

Yesterday, Johan handed over more than half of Noah’s work to the new trainees. With the work he had to do from today suddenly cut down, Noah wondered how to use the remaining time, and decided to go into the church to offer a prayer.
“Noah.”
When Noah turned his head toward the sound, he saw Johan approaching with quick steps.
“The Abbot is calling for you.”
Because of Aiden’s army, strong enough to be called the Monster’s unit, no wars or conflicts had broken out for a while. And with that, the Abbot’s summons to heal the injured had also decreased.
“What is it about?”
“Pretend you don’t know what I said. The moment you act like you know, I become the biggest blabbermouth ever. Got it?”
“Of course.”
Noah looked at Johan and let out a small laugh.
“It seems he’s put you on the list of those selected to take perpetual vows this year.”
“Really?”
Noah had entered this Benia Monastery at thirteen and was now twenty-seven. From postulant to novice, over a full fourteen years, he had devoted himself to training in every way to become a true monk.
“So hurry and go before the Abbot changes his mind.”
“Yes, yes!”
Noah climbed the stairs with light steps and carefully knocked on the door of the Abbot’s office in the central corridor of the second floor.
“Come in.”
Just like when he had first come here, the Abbot’s voice was low and subdued. Noah let out a long breath to calm his pounding heart. Then he slowly turned the doorknob, opened the door, and entered the room.
“Abbot, you called for me?”
“Have a seat here.”
The Abbot patted Noah’s shoulder lightly, then pointed to the sofa with his hand.
“It feels like just the other day when you first came… Noah, how old are you this year?”
“I am twenty-seven.”
The Abbot looked at Noah with gentle eyes.
Noah’s features, smooth and glossy like white porcelain to a degree that made his age of twenty-seven hard to believe, and delicate yet distinct, had grown more beautiful with each passing year. Moreover, the moment one faced his violet eyes, which seemed somehow mysterious, it was not merely that one could not look away, but rather that one felt drawn into those eyes.
The Abbot was, honestly, most worried about Noah’s beautiful appearance. But Noah had faithfully done his work over the past fourteen years. He had silently carried out the arduous training required of a monk better than anyone. Moreover, he had used his healing ability for the weak without any compensation.
The Abbot no longer harbored any doubt about Noah’s noble attitude and his kind, kind heart. And so he placed Noah’s name on the register of perpetual vows.
“Noah Carter.”
“Yes, Abbot.”
“I feel that Noah is now a true monk.”
