Lee Sunho, who had completely unwrapped the bandages and splints, gently grasped my clean, restored hands. It was an action he could not have taken without being certain that my hands were fully healed.

“Is it uncomfortable to move?”

“Huh? Yeah.”

“Not your hands.”

Lee Sunho’s fingers, which had been fondling every single joint of my fingers, intertwined smoothly like a gentle snake. Naturally, his solid fingers interlaced with mine now suggestively rubbed the back of my hand.

“How are your waist and back?”

In an instant, yesterday’s memory replayed vividly in my mind.

The blurred vision flushed with fever, the breath roughly mixing together, and the sense that relentlessly probed deep into me.

—It does not hurt, right? Yeah… it must not hurt. Then you would like it even if I go wild, right?

“—Stop…! Are you… ah, trying to kill me…? I said… stop…!”

Having barely pushed the events of the previous day into a corner of my mind, they came flooding back because of this guy.

However, I did not blush.

Since I had already fully understood and adapted to our relationship and yesterday’s situation even before Lee Sunho came in, it felt rather natural and nonchalant, except for a slight sense of embarrassment.

‘By the way, this guy… Is he naturally incapable of feeling embarrassed?’

Even though he was the one who proposed it, he went beyond mutual gratification with another guy his age and actually had real sex. It was simply astonishing to wonder what kind of mental state he had to be so unbothered.

Unaware of my thoughts, Lee Sunho kept kneading my hand. Is it a glutinous rice cake or what?

“I pushed my ability to the maximum, but if it is still tough, tell me. I will carry you around comfortably in my arms.”

Despite having swung that terrifying weapon without mercy, right now he was patting me like a worrywart softie.

Perhaps due to the dulled sensation in my lower body, Lee Sunho felt quite petty and irritated.

“Forget it. I am completely fine.”

When I replied bluntly, he led me out of the bedroom without letting go of our interlaced hands.

“That is a relief. Then let us go out and eat. Now that your fever has completely dropped, I can finally feed you this and that.”

“Just how much more are you planning to feed me?”

Being led along obediently, I snickered.

Lee Sunho, whose hobby was taking care of his partner, looked the most excited when he was taking care of my meals like right now.

My body was already fragile, so while suffering from the fever, my digestive system could not function properly, meaning I could only swallow finely ground porridge. Every mealtime, Lee Sunho prepared and fed it to me himself, and he had mentioned several times how unfortunate it was that he could not feed me a full meal.

Was he trying to make up for that disappointment?

The moment I entered the kitchen, my mouth hung open. Along with a delicious aroma that struck the tip of my nose, an unrealistic sight filled my view.

Without realizing it, an exasperated sigh escaped me.

On top of the six-person dining table that was quite spacious for just the two of us to use, countless plates were packed so tightly that it was hard to find any empty space. The food, arranged variety-wise without distinguishing between Korean, Chinese, and Western cuisine, boasted an overwhelming visual as if every single dish was overflowing with rare delicacies.

This bastard has not fixed his habit again.

‘Are the table legs even okay?’

Without realizing it, I ended up checking whether the table legs were intact before looking at the food.

“How are we supposed to eat all of this?”

“Eat your fill and leave the rest. We can just use preservation items to store them.”

Was he planning to use preservation items, which were used when storing consumable items or precious potions separately, on every single one of these numerous dishes?

If it was a flex of wealth, it was truly at the level of art.

Unbothered by my dumbfounded gaze, Lee Sunho pulled out a chair with the happiest expression in the world.

Instead of sitting on that chair, I looked toward the shelf where the empty side dish containers were stored. For context, those side dish containers were not actually used to store side dishes, but were like storage boxes that held my beef jerky and calorie bars.

“Instead of doing that, let us scoop some out before eating. So we can give them to the seniors.”

The seniors.

I was talking about the dormitory people who had helped us move along with Park Jung-geon from the 1st squad.

I felt it when we were moving too, but they seemed to view me like fragile, risky glass chopsticks. They tried to pack food for me whenever they had the chance, and if they saw me so much as climbing the stairs, they offered their backs first, saying they would carry me. One senior even packed herbal medicine for me.
