In the Name of God - Chapter 39.1
Three days have passed since the promotion exam.
As expected, the results were announced, and Lee Sunho and I were promoted to 7th rank, just as we had been informed.
‘Now we can properly start exploring E-rank dungeons.’
During the three days I deliberately waited for the results, I rested thoroughly at home. Until the announcement, I could still only participate in F-rank dungeon raids, so I decided it was better to rest and aim for E-rank dungeon entry.

Life extension of 10 or 14 days.
Being E-rank didn’t spectacularly increase lifespan.
It was definitely better than F-rank, but the increase wasn’t as explosive as I had hoped.
Scrolling through the dungeon raid quest list, most were E-rank dungeons, and dungeons above E-rank were extremely rare, appearing only once every two or three pages.
I had heard that from E-rank, some dungeons had a + for higher difficulty, but those I could not even glimpse.
The reason was obvious.
‘Clans must be sweeping up the E-rank dungeons too.’
I had heard that E-rank dungeons, which required forming a party for 7th-rank Awakener or higher, were quickly claimed by small clans. Even mid-to-high tier clans had to use E-rank dungeons to train their lower members, so the competition made sense.
“What are you thinking so hard about?”
Tap.
I looked up at the sound of a coffee cup being placed on the table.
Lee Sunho set down our coffees and sat across from me.
“I’m deciding which dungeon to pick.”
After flipping through a few more pages, I asked.
“Do you have a dungeon you prefer?”
“Not really.”
“Any you dislike?”
“Not really either.”
“Shall we go for one in Seoul since it’s close?”
“Sure.”
“Local dungeons could work too.”
“Okay.”
“Lee Sunho, you’re a bit spineless, huh?”
“One strong opinion is enough, isn’t it?”
“Fair enough.”
I nodded indifferently, and then my phone vibrated, though it wasn’t mine.
Lee Sunho’s phone, lying on the table, was ringing.
He glanced at it casually and hung up.
“Getting a lot of messages?”
“A few.”
Lee Sunho and I both got messages several times a day.
All of them were requests to join their clans, saying they would meet our conditions and at least hear us out.
“Any clan that caught your eye?”
“No. I haven’t even opened the messages.”
“You could at least check the conditions. Why not?”
“No need. I’m going wherever you go anyway.”
Lee Sunho sipped his warm Americano, eyes narrowing slightly. I followed suit, sipping my ice caramel macchiato with whipped cream.
“Don’t you trust me too much?”
“A stalker always follows wherever their target goes.”
“Still should have reported it.”
“Too late.”
Lee Sunho chuckled quietly.
Well, his insistence on going with me wasn’t necessarily bad.
If two people who had just jumped two ranks in the promotion exam entered together as a pair, they would be welcomed anywhere.
But the contact I wanted hadn’t arrived yet.
‘Right now, everyone’s either busy haggling over terms or just waiting to see.’
Maybe I should bait them, to let those who want to test our strength take the bait.
I sipped my coffee, thinking for a moment, then turned back to the quest list.

[Applications: 0/8]
By chance, one quest had no applicants at all.
Normally, the first person to apply would implicitly become the party leader.
Without reading long, I applied for the quest. Then I sent Lee Sunho a party participation request through the app and began writing the recruitment post.
No rank requirement.
Soon enough, the six empty slots were quickly filled.
