In the Name of God - Chapter 39.2
Suwon E-3991 Dungeon Entrance.
In the open field swept by the winter wind, eight people stood in a circle.
Me, Lee Sunho, four men, and two women.
We all carried different main weapons, and our composition was not bad.
I surveyed the party members as they exchanged brief greetings.
Some of them had set their rank to private when applying to the party.
Since the board could only be viewed by 7th-rank or higher and rank didn’t matter for applications, there was no way anyone lower than us had applied.
I carefully observed the four members who had hidden their ranks.
A short-haired man carrying a rifle on his back.
A platinum-haired woman teasing him.
A bald martial artist with an expressionless face.
And a large, burly middle-aged man holding a big shield.
“Maybe one of them is the one I’m looking for. Could even be all of them.”
At my whisper, Echo, lying on my shoulder, lifted its head.
-Yes? What is it?
“The fish I’m looking for.”
Echo perked its ears this way and that, still looking confused.
At that moment, the man with the rifle and the platinum-haired woman, who seemed to be his partner, approached.
“Hello. You must be the party leader, right?”
The man’s voice was calm.
From his gaze and actions, his confidence was natural. He was not some clumsy rookie.
“I’m Park Junggeon.”
“Hello. I’m Estelle Loranie. I look forward to working with you today.”
Following Park Junggeon, Estelle greeted with a soft smile. It felt very different from the way she had bickered with him earlier.
“I’m Seong Do‑yoon. This is…”
“This is Do‑yoon’s partner, Lee Sunho.”
Lee Sunho interrupted me, flashing his signature smile as he shook hands with the two. The word ‘partner’ seemed to carry extra emphasis, though maybe that was just my imagination.
Once the introductions began, everyone started greeting each other.
The atmosphere was very different from what I had seen in F-rank dungeons.
There were no rookies brimming with awakening pride, looking for trouble, and no obvious newbies either.
Even if they spoke little, their actions were organized, and the aura of ‘workers’ typical of Awakeners was evident.
I scanned the party members with my eyes once.
“Before we enter, I have one request.”
All eyes turned to me.
“For safety and a quick exit, I ask for your cooperation.”

Inside the cave, the air was thick with heat.
We stopped in front of an open area with tunnels branching off in multiple directions.
-Master, I have transmitted scan information for a 100-meter radius.
Information flooded my mind all at once, as if soaking into my brain.
Monster positions, cracks in the cave walls, tunnels both large and small, and even geographic peculiarities.
All the information in the area took shape in my mind like a detailed map. I quickly adapted to it and gauged how we should fight.
I assigned positions and roles to the waiting party members one by one. This was possible because I knew the layout of the open area where the battle would occur and the monster placements.
As requested beforehand, the party members followed my instructions without question. I could not reveal Echo’s scanning function, so I just told them it was part of my ‘Hawkeye’ ability.
After confirming that the party members had quietly taken their positions, I turned on the Bluetooth radio in my ear. It was a cheap, hastily bought model, allowing only the party members to hear my voice.
That was enough for now.
“Can everyone hear me clearly?”
I whispered, scanning the group with ‘Hawkeye.’ When I saw all of them nod slightly, I decided to utilize the teamwork of this multi-person party for the first time.
My first task was to identify enemy positions and obstacles clearly with ‘Hawkeye’ and use mana to pinpoint the monsters’ weakest points.
Fifteen giant spiders, armored in rock-like exoskeletons, moved between the open area and the tunnels.
They had not discovered us yet.
The first strike had to be fast and precise.
“Let’s begin.”
I felt everyone’s attention on me as I spoke.
