When Park Junggeon asked again if I would move into the dormitory, I gave him a nod.

“I’m going to move in for now. The place I’m living in currently is quite terrible.”

“You are more than welcome! Actually, a room opened up recently because some of the first division members were sent on a long term overseas dispatch. It happens to be in the same complex as mine, right on the floor above.”

Park Junggeon grinned incessantly, clearly pleased. I had a feeling he might end up dropping by my room quite frequently.

“So, both of you are moving in, right?”

“No, Lee Sunho won’t need to.”

As I answered for him, Lee Sunho grabbed my shoulder.

“No. I need to, too.”

“……?”

I froze without realizing it.

Lee Sunho’s eyes weren’t just sparkling now; they were practically flashing.

What is with this guy? He’s scary.

“Your house is less than twenty minutes from here.”

The Black Tail headquarters is in Gangnam, and from what I know, the dormitory building is an officetel located right behind this building.

And Lee Sunho’s house was definitely in Gangnam. It was only two subway stops away.

Park Junggeon asked with interest.

“Oh? Where do you live?”

Lee Sunho answered nonchalantly.

“Central The Hill.”

“…Isn’t the standard size there around 2,500 square feet?”

“He lives on the top floor, so it’s probably over 3,500 square feet.”

As I answered on Lee Sunho’s behalf, the expression vanished from Park Junggeon’s face instantly. His increasingly sour face was quite entertaining to watch.

“Tch…. No wonder he didn’t care about the contract terms.”

Park Junggeon muttered as he suddenly wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

“Aigu, you are a total lucky charm! If it wasn’t for you, how would we have lured in a silver spoon swordsman like him……!”

Before he could finish his sentence, my body was pulled away entirely. Lee Sunho grabbed my arm, which was as thin as a chopstick, and pulled me in, wrapping his arm around me in the exact same way Park Junggeon had.

He was clearly smiling, but Lee Sunho’s eyes scanned Park Junggeon coldly.

“Haha….”

Letting out an awkward laugh, Park Junggeon quickly changed the subject.

“Anyway, so both of you are moving into the dormitory?”

I managed to fix my posture while pushing Lee Sunho away. Lee Sunho, who had returned to a beaming expression in an instant, stood right beside me.

“When do you want to move in? I’ll let the dormitory manager know.”

“The sooner the better, I suppose.”

I didn’t know what the interior of the dormitory would be like, but compared to my current house, it would surely be paradise.

Even for the sake of the immune system of this frail body, the sooner I changed my environment, the better.

“I’ll move in tomorrow.”

For ten days after signing the contract, it was a basic adjustment period, so I wasn’t particularly busy.

Basic training was scheduled for the mornings, and in the afternoons, we had to cram basic knowledge about the clan, company rules, and the code of conduct into our heads. For reference, the morning basic training only applied to new recruits who had just joined the third division.

Other than that, it was free time with no interference. We could use the headquarters’ facilities, engage in personal training, or just go home, wash our feet, and go to sleep.

However, during this period, we were forbidden from accepting dungeon raid quests from the Association as individuals.

Since we would now be moving under the banner of the Black Tail clan rather than as unaffiliated freelancers, it was judged that acting without sufficient education as a clan member could potentially damage the clan’s reputation.

Honestly, it was a shame I couldn’t earn more lifespan, but I couldn’t afford to start off on the wrong foot.

Because of this, it looked like I would have to burn through all the lifespan I had earned from the last E-rank dungeon during this time.

Since things had turned out this way, I intended to work hard at “adjusting” to this clan for the next ten days.

However, the training schedule was pushed back by two days due to my move.

This was because of Park Junggeon’s unilateral claim that it was a dormitory custom to have a drinking party on the night of a move. He insisted on a two day delay because most people are usually hungover the next day.

In the end, Park Junggeon, who made that bizarre claim, along with four idle people from the dormitory, came out to help me with my move.

“It’s a new recruit after a long time! Pack your bags nicely and get them moved quickly!”

“Yes, sir!”

The muscular figures moved in perfect order according to Park Junggeon’s instructions.

Even though they all had quite intimidating appearances, they beamed every time our eyes met. I heard that they hadn’t recruited anyone during last year’s open recruitment because there was no talent, so they seemed to view a new recruit arriving for the first time in nearly two years with affection.
