In the Name of God - Chapter 46.1
A chilling aura that could not be ignored washed over the clan members. Several people in the room stiffened reflexively. Even though he had not used any particular ability, everyone instinctively swallowed hard and began glancing at one another.
“R-right. Let’s head out now, everyone. You too, Junggeon hyung.”
“Huh? Already?”
Park Junggeon was already completely out of it.
His eyes were unfocused, his tongue was already twisted, and he hiccuped frequently. Seemingly unable to sense the cold energy Lee Sunho was emitting at all, he grumbled about why they were leaving so soon.
“Hyung, I said get up. Come on, hurry!”
“Well… we were being a bit thoughtless, dragging these kids along when they just finished moving today, weren’t we? Sorry about that.”
“Alright, let’s clean this up quickly! Oh my, when did our youngest pass out?”
“Hey, don’t touch the youngest! Let the kid sleep!”
At some point, I had become everyone’s “youngest.” Even though Lee Sunho was the same age and had joined on the same day, no one in the room treated him like a cute youngest member.
The men, now seemingly wide awake, quickly gathered the empty cans and soju bottles scattered around the living room and rushed out.
Once the clan members left, taking even the struggling Park Junggeon with them, a brief silence settled over the room.
The only sound to be heard was my own low, steady breathing as I lay sprawled on the sofa.
Lee Sunho approached the sofa where I was lying. Even as the clan members were clearing the bottles and dragging Park Junggeon away, my vacant eyes had been following Lee Sunho the entire time.
Kneeling beside the sofa, Lee Sunho stroked my hair with incredibly gentle eyes. As if it felt good, the eyelashes of my half closed eyes trembled slightly.
“You… no matter what… you shouldn’t be… mean to the seniors…”
“Yes, I understand.”
“You should be… good to people… who are good to you…”
“I will do that.”
It was only a short response, but I seemed satisfied. This time, I reached out and stroked Lee Sunho’s hair. Perhaps because I lacked strength, it was more like I was simply resting my hand there rather than stroking it, but Lee Sunho still wore a look of pure bliss.
After offering his head for a while, Lee Sunho finally stood up once my hand dropped away as if exhausted. Since he couldn’t let me sleep on something like a sofa, he carefully lifted me up with both arms.
Now leaning my head obediently as if it were the most natural thing, I looked down calmly. With a slight flush on my pale skin and my long eyelashes lowered, the sight was quite alluring. Since I am usually a person with a sensitive face and indifferent eyes, Lee Sunho, from his perspective, could not help but feel a great deal of interest in this helplessly disheveled version of me.
Lee Sunho headed toward my room with a strange smile on his face.
Even though it was the same layout as his own, my room felt special.
His eyes were drawn to the sparse chest of drawers and shelves filled only with necessary items, the neatly arranged bedding, and the revolver I had placed on the desk after maintenance.
The more he observed each detail, the more it seemed to reveal the personality of the person named Seong Do-yoon—or rather, the person residing inside this body. For Lee Sunho, who wanted to know every single thing about me, even these things became a precious joy.
“Mmm…”
Because he had been looking around the room while holding me, I let out a slightly uncomfortable groan.
Trying to lean my head in deeper, my hot cheek touched Lee Sunho’s neck.
“We drank together… but why are you cold…. …It feels nice.”
Feeling good from the temperature difference, I rubbed my cheek against Lee Sunho’s neck repeatedly. For a moment, Lee Sunho’s hands almost tightened around me, but he endured it with trembling fingertips, fearing he might cause even the slightest bit of pain.
Approaching the bed carefully, Lee Sunho noticed a mark next to the pillow before setting me down.
It was an indentation, as if something round like a ball had been sitting there.
However, knowing that there was nothing there anymore, Lee Sunho obediently laid me down on the bed.
He pulled the blanket up to my neck and was about to withdraw his hand when I suddenly grabbed it.
“Hey… Lee Sunho.”
