May Every Wound Be Fatal - Chapter 64.1
Reyna tilted her head slightly and lifted her chin just a little more.
They drew closer, and Elizer did not pull away. It was less that he chose not to, and more that he was too startled to do anything at all—but Reyna didn’t mind.
Their noses brushed for a brief moment. As if entranced by something, Reyna pulled his face closer and closed her eyes.
With a soft, swelling sensation, their lips met.
For Reyna, who had lost her memories, it was her first kiss.
It felt a little different from what she had imagined. It wasn’t that there was any particularly distinct sensation—rather, the very fact that their lips were touching, the faint, ticklish trembling that passed between them, felt strangely unfamiliar.
It was overwhelming, almost difficult to bear, and yet, somehow, she wanted to stay like that for as long as possible.
Without realizing it, she frowned slightly and pressed her lips more firmly against his.
Her face burned, her thoughts tangled, and dizziness crept in. Only then did she realize she was short of breath.
“Ha…”
Reluctantly, she pulled her lips away and grabbed his arm. Even as she gasped for air, what she felt first was a sense of regret, which made her feel a little absurd.
Reyna lifted her gaze. Elizer’s face was close—his eyes gently shut, his brows faintly drawn together.
His golden lashes trembled slightly, then slowly, he opened his eyes. The long line of his gaze dipped downward, his eyes glistening as they wavered intensely toward her.
Breathing unevenly, Reyna looked into them. She felt like she understood what he wanted.
She closed her eyes again.
She could feel his rough, warm hand gently tracing her jaw and cheek. A soft, trembling breath slipped from her lips.
His face drew closer. She could feel the warmth of his breath against her skin. Their noses brushed again, their lips hovering close—just about to touch.
A strange shiver ran through her, and without thinking, Reyna parted her lips slightly.
It was instinct.
A new, unfamiliar sensation followed, and Reyna tightened her grip on his shoulders. He hesitated for a moment, but instead of pulling back, he deepened the contact.
Their closeness grew, gentle yet intense, different from before—something that left Reyna unable to gather her thoughts. A trembling sensation began deep within her and spread through her whole body.
From that moment on, she could think of nothing but Elizer.

Carrying Reyna in his arms, Elizer strode quickly across the bedroom.
As he did, his lips brushed here and there—her hair, her ear, her forehead, her temple. Reyna quietly accepted his touches, her arms wrapped around his neck.
He laid her down on the bed. Her body sank softly into the blankets, and the cover around her shoulders slipped away. Looking up at him, she watched as he climbed onto the bed, pulling off his outer garment.
Their eyes remained locked. There was something almost restless in his movements that made Reyna swallow unconsciously.
He freed his arms from his sleeves, then brought his other leg onto the bed, moving toward her on his knees. His shoes slipped off carelessly. One of his hands braced beside her head, and his large shadow fell over her like a veil.
Elizer lowered his face. As if sensing what would come next, Reyna closed her eyes.
His lips touched her cheek.
At the faint, ticklish sensation, she flinched slightly—and in that instant, his lips slid to the corner of her mouth, catching her lower lip lightly.
Reyna parted her lips without thinking.
Their closeness deepened again.
From the garden to the bed, she had already lost count of how many times they had kissed. What had felt so unfamiliar before no longer felt quite so strange.
His hand gently steadied her, guiding her movements as their closeness grew more natural, more instinctive.
“Mm… ah…”
