That Face Is the Problem - Chapter 27.2
However, no answer came from inside the room. Thinking that Da-sol might not have heard him, Jae-gyeong raised his voice slightly and asked again.
“Da-sol, may I come in for a moment…?”
“…I said.”
Then a voice came from inside, seemingly repeating his words. Was that an invitation to enter? Jae-gyeong hesitated, then turned the doorknob. What he saw inside made him freeze.
Da-sol was bent over, in the process of removing his clothes, even his underwear.
“AAAAAHHH!!!”
Jae-gyeong screamed at a volume louder than he had ever shouted in his life. Startled, Da-sol turned around and yelled along with him, “Ahhh!” He quickly pulled his underwear back up, guarding his private parts.
“What the fuck!”
“Why, why are you taking your clothes off…!”
Jae-gyeong shouted, trembling. He had seen naked men many times before, and it never affected him. But Da-sol’s pale body, the tight black boxer briefs, and what was clearly…
“AAAAAHHH!!!”
Jae-gyeong screamed again from the depths of his stomach. Da-sol looked at him in disbelief.
“What the hell? I told you I would take a shower, so wait and we’ll talk later!”
“I-I didn’t hear that…! I just thought you were inviting me in…!”
“Ha… So why are you here?”
“Y-yes…?”
“Why did you come in?”
Da-sol did not seem concerned about covering himself. That made sense. They were both men, and Jae-gyeong had repeatedly emphasized that he was not gay and that he still had feelings for a woman. He had made it clear that he did not like Da-sol.
Yet, Jae-gyeong still felt embarrassed. Da-sol’s muscles were well defined, his skin pale, and his pink nipples drew too much attention. The contrast between his white skin and the black boxer briefs made him look provocative.
And what exactly was in those boxer briefs… Could it be a protective cup? If not, was all that volume his own? Jae-gyeong felt dizzy.
“Are you not taking your perverted eyes off me?”
Da-sol somehow noticed Jae-gyeong staring and said ominously. Jae-gyeong quickly shut his eyes and held out the shopping bag.
“The, the t-shirt I tore before…! I was so sorry that I bought the same design in different colors…! I wanted to give it to you…! I really didn’t expect you to be undressing… I swear I have no perverted intentions… really—”
“Oh, really… I understand, so just leave it here and go.”
“Y-yes…!”
Jae-gyeong set the shopping bag down without further explanation and left the room with his eyes closed. He even bumped his forehead on the doorframe. From behind, he heard Da-sol muttering, “Ugh, unbelievable.” Jae-gyeong agreed silently. He really had messed up.
Why do these situations with seeing Da-sol naked keep happening? They had been on the same team for less than a week, not even in a shared living situation, and yet these incidents kept happening.
Jae-gyeong rubbed his sore forehead and sniffled. He quickly entered his own room and dove onto the bed.
‘Now I’m definitely labeled as a pervert…’
He had just received praise from Da-sol. He had hoped to use this opportunity to get closer. Not that he needed to.
Normally, Jae-gyeong preferred to respect personal boundaries. He often felt burdened or suspicious when someone got too close.
But why did he want to close the distance with Da-sol again and again? Was it because he was like Da-in? But now he understood with both his head and heart that Da-in and Da-sol were completely different people.
He lay face down on his king-size bed, burying his face in the pillow and quietly crying. He was frustrated with himself for mistiming things, not listening properly, rudely seeing Da-sol naked, and losing so many opportunities.
While he was crying, he heard Da-sol muttering behind him, “Ugh, what the hell…” Jae-gyeong lifted his head sharply. There was a wet mark on the pillow in the shape of his face.
“D-Da-sol…?”
“How old are you? Why do you cry so easily?”
Da-sol asked irritably. It seemed he had lost all patience with using polite speech.
Jae-gyeong pressed his lips together. His chin wrinkled like a walnut. Seeing that, Da-sol rubbed his forehead.
