That Face Is the Problem - Chapter 51.2
Da-sol made a reasonable point. Jae-gyeong, having been rejected twice in a row, was sulking and turning his head, and Da-sol made a suggestion.
“After talking about it, the answer is clear. A sign alone will not work. We probably need an item.”
He then explained an item that Jin Jeong-eon had previously possessed. It was a Shelter Choker made by the Namgeumson Hunter. By pressing its button, the wearer could instantly teleport two designated people to a safe zone they had set as a shelter.
“There are many two-person pair items like that.”
“Then… we have to go to the Hunter Department Store…”
“Right. Shall we go after the repairs are done at your place tomorrow?”
Jae-gyeong blinked slowly at Da-sol’s suggestion. If anyone else had said that, he would have assumed it was a date request. But the way Da-sol naturally suggested a next plan did not feel like that at all.
“Uh… yes, if you are okay with it, Da-sol…”
“Then let’s check out some items there tomorrow.”
Having said his piece, Da-sol stood up. He added, “Sleep well,” and went into the room he had previously used.
Jae-gyeong, left alone in the living room, leaned halfway on the sofa and stared at the ceiling. Could what just happened really be real?
These two, who had sulked and avoided each other just moments ago, were now planning to go to his house and the department store together tomorrow? What kind of development was this? This cannot be real.
Jae-gyeong pinched his own cheek. The sting made tears well up instantly.
“It’s real….”
That meant Da-sol’s earlier apology and his suggestion to do something together were both genuine.
Da-sol was not the type to say such things to someone he disliked. Absolutely not. Though Jae-gyeong had known him for only a short time, he was certain.
‘So it wasn’t because he is a man that I dislike him too…’
Realizing this made his gloomy mood lighten immediately.
At that moment, Da-sol suddenly opened the door and spoke quickly to Jae-gyeong.
“And Hunter Jeong Jae-gyeong, you are a pretty good person, so stop blaming yourself so much.”
Speaking almost like a scolding teacher, Da-sol then slammed the door shut and returned to his room.
Jae-gyeong sat dumbfounded for a moment before getting up from the sofa. What had he just heard? He stood there briefly before heading to the room he had previously stayed in. As always, he left the door slightly open and began to think deeply inside.
‘Da-sol… has really changed. Since I was discharged, he has been treating me much better….’
This was not a good sign. Of course, it was good to get along with Da-sol, a teammate and healer, but not for Jae-gyeong personally. He had already been shaken by Da-sol’s face before, and even now, he could be easily swayed by him. Yet “you are a pretty good person, so stop blaming yourself”? To someone like Jae-gyeong, it sounded almost like “I like you, so get ready to be confessed to.”
‘I cannot do this. If I misinterpret this, Da-sol will crush me….’
Jae-gyeong slapped both his cheeks. But another thought quickly entered his mind.
Still, what should I wear tomorrow….

- Heal Priority
The next day, Da-sol and Jae-gyeong had breakfast together as if nothing had happened and then headed to Huntrion. The repair company was busy from 8 a.m., going around the apartment with high-level professional hunters performing the work.
Jae-gyeong’s home was quickly repaired, but Da-sol’s ceiling-damaged home took more time, as they had to get construction estimates and reach an agreement with the upstairs neighbor.
As a result, they left the apartment together well past one in the afternoon.
“We should eat first as soon as we get to the department store.”
Da-sol said this with a tone of annoyance. Then he asked,
“Hunter Jeong Jae-gyeong, what is your favorite food?”
“Mine…?”
Jae-gyeong was surprised. He had assumed he would be eating spicy pork or tonkatsu again today. He was caught off guard that Da-sol actually asked his food preference. What do I like again…?
“I mean, what do you like?”
“Uh… uh… well….”
“Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Western, or others?”
“Oh… Korean, ah, I like Pyongyang cold noodles.”
“Pyongyang cold noodles? I do not like them much. Too bland.”
“Yes….”
As Jae-gyeong nodded obediently, Da-sol quickly said,
“But that department store has a Pyongyang cold noodle restaurant. Let’s eat there.”
“Can we… really eat there…?”
“Of course. Do you take me for trash or something?”
“No, no… absolutely not….”
