That Face Is the Problem - Chapter 58.1
The type a healer hates the most…?
It felt as if a massive boulder had crashed down on Jae-gyeong’s head. Startled, he looked up at Da-sol with wide, shaking eyes. Da-sol let out a dry laugh and lightly flicked Jae-gyeong under the chin, careful not to hurt him.
“Ah….”
“It means you should come immediately if you get hurt.”
At that moment, Lee Hyun ran over.
“Da-sol oppa! Ye-jin noona and Ri-na said they want to go to the gym together!”
“…Okay.”
“You’re going, right? Noona! Oppa is going too!”
Then Lee Hyun’s eyes sparkled as he asked Jae-gyeong.
“Are you going too, Jeong Jae-gyeong Hunter?”
“…Uh, I think I’ll rest.”
Why he answered with a refusal so quickly was unclear. Lee Hyun did not ask again and just said to Da-sol, “Let’s go, oppa,” before running off. Da-sol nodded to Jae-gyeong as a greeting and followed Lee Hyun out.
Jae-gyeong slowly gathered his clothes in the now-empty simulation training hall. He took off his sweat-soaked combat uniform, changed into casual clothes, put his uniform into the laundry basket, and left the training hall, pressing the elevator button.
His finger hesitated in front of the basement floor button but pressed the first floor instead. He then walked all the way to his apartment. Thoughts swirled through his mind during the walk, and by the time he arrived, he had reached one conclusion.
‘I think Yoon Lee-hyun Hunter… dislikes me….’
By now, he had spoken comfortably with Ye-jin and Ri-na and settled on familiar ways of addressing them, yet Lee Hyun had not been asked about this. While others might not notice, sensitive people pick up on these subtle things. Even if this was just needless speculation, he would worry and feel sad until Lee Hyun asked tomorrow, “Can I call you oppa?”
He did not particularly need Lee Hyun to call him ‘Jae-gyeong oppa.’ Lee Hyun had never shown dislike. Yet somehow, Jae-gyeong felt that Lee Hyun seemed to avoid eye contact and subtly kept him in check. Was that just his imagination?
Perhaps it was because I matched the ring with Da-sol…?
Jae-gyeong looked down at the ring glowing on his right thumb and smiled faintly. If this was the reason for Lee Hyun’s subtle jealousy, it might not feel bad at all.
‘He’s jealous because he feels closer to Da-sol ….’
For Jae-gyeong, this was a very positive way to interpret things. Without realizing it, he began humming while preparing lunch. He still had plenty of frozen pork cutlets, so he decided to fry some.

“Skipping today’s workout.”
Da-sol said this and strode out of the gym. Lee Hyun, who had belted himself to exercise alongside Da-sol, was startled and grabbed him.
“Ah, why oppa! Let’s work out, then shower and eat. We did a lot of cardio today, so we need to do strength training too.”
“I’m too lazy.”
That was all Da-sol said. He left the gym, ignoring Lee Hyun. Lee Hyun, fiddling with the belt around his waist, frowned.
This is not going to be as easy as I thought.
Lee Hyun wanted to get closer to Da-sol. Da-sol’s position as an escort hunter was notorious, and many predecessors were quickly replaced. Lee Hyun did not want to become just another one of them.
The Training Guild. The top large guild in South Korea.
Hunters ranked first and second domestically were Jin Jeong-eon Hunter, representative of the Hunter Association, and Hyeon Hee-ro Hunter, the guild master of the Training Guild. Other team members were also among the country’s top twenty.
The guild was famous for fully supporting its members with items and even S-rank combat uniforms, offering the best welfare. Anyone could freely use the expensive simulation training hall, and skilled hunters gathered in droves.
To grow stronger, one must stay close to the strong. Even a C-rank hunter could grow remarkably after months or years in such a guild.
Yet Da-sol had been wandering outside more than usual. From Lee Hyun’s perspective, it felt like a suspicious husband watching a wandering wife.
Da-sol had been noticeably sticking close to Jae-gyeong, talking with him often. Perhaps no one noticed, not even Da-sol himself. Without Jae-gyeong present, Da-sol rarely appeared.
Lee Hyun wanted to work more closely with Da-sol, train with other members, and learn more, but with Da-sol disappearing, that became impossible. Escort hunters without a healer to protect had few opportunities to interact with the rest of the team.
