“I just don’t want you to leave the guild. Especially if the reason for that is because of me.”

Da-sol roughly swept up his hair, which had drifted down in waves right before his eyes. He continued his words with chilly eyes.

“You can’t stop yourself from growing to like someone. I know that too. That’s exactly why I went to such extreme lengths to completely sever the feelings of the bastards who confessed to me.”

“Ah…”

He had never thought about it that way before. Realizing that there had been a reason of its own behind Da-sol’s violence, Jae-gyeong felt a small sense of relief. No. Wait a minute. The fact that he is telling me this story right now, does that mean he is planning to do something extreme to me soon as well?

Quietly covering his lower body with both hands, Jae-gyeong asked with desperation.

“Um… then by any chance, are you going to… smash my place down there too…?”

The end of Jae-gyeong’s voice trembled. Da-sol stared at him blankly before noticing where he was covering and let out a chuckle.

“Are you an actual idiot? Why on earth would I stab Hunter Jeong Jae-gyeong down there? Haha.”

“…Stab, stab…?”

‘He wasn’t just talking about bursting balls, he was actually thinking about stabbing it too?’ Jae-gyeong’s face turned completely pale. As the blood throughout his body ran cold, his survival instinct to flee began to squirm. Even Da-sol’s smiling face looked just like the face of a villain in a horror movie.

Fortunately, however, before Jae-gyeong could scream and dash out, Da-sol added his next words.

“Knowing that you like me, and even after finding out that you only liked my face because of our older sister, if I’m still holding onto you and telling you not to leave the guild, what do you think that means?”

“Pardon…?”

The amusement gradually vanished from Da-sol’s face. Looking straight at Jae-gyeong, he spoke.

“It means that I can’t separate public and private matters when it comes to Hunter Jeong Jae-gyeong either. That’s what it means.”

“…Eh… Yes?”

Wearing a foolish expression as if he genuinely could not comprehend, Jae-gyeong tilted his head. ‘That Mr. Da-sol can’t separate public and private matters… surely that doesn’t mean what I think it means… What exactly does he mean by that?’

“Haa… I’m saying I think I’ve also developed some personal feelings for Hunter Jeong Jae-gyeong. Do you still not understand?”

Jae-gyeong blinked his eyes. ‘The meaning I’m thinking of… it’s right, isn’t it?’

“So right now… you’re saying that you have also grown to like me, Mr. Da-sol…?”

“Not quite to the point of liking, but favorable interest? Curiosity? Well, about that much.”

“No, I mean, so, that is, liking…”

“Since I don’t dislike you, I suppose it could be viewed as liking.”

“No, there is a world of difference between not disliking someone and liking someone…? So right now, what you’re saying is that you like me, Mr. Da-sol…?”

“Not to the point of liking, but the stage right before having fond feelings?”

“That is exactly what liking—”

“Ah, think whatever you want.”

In the end, Da-sol snapped. He crossed his arms and turned his head toward the opposite side. Stunned, Jae-gyeong could only stare at Da-sol. His brain was still unable to properly process this situation.

‘So right now, Mr. Da-sol just confessed that he shares the same feelings as me… right? It’s right, isn’t it?’

Jae-gyeong had never once expected that a person he liked would like him back. Therefore, even though Da-sol was speaking this clearly, it felt unbelievable and left him entirely dazed. Fearing that he might have misunderstood, he had no choice but to ask two or three times over.

On top of that, the counterpart was Da-sol! The Seo Da-sol, who loathed men to the bone, who was an expert at bursting men’s balls. The one who hated even letting his skin tissues brush against a man, who would invent an alcohol allergy on the spot if a male superior asked to grab drinks, and who would literally vomit in a man’s face if he confessed. That very person had just given Jae-gyeong a roundabout confession of his affection.

“If you like me because I resemble our older sister, and if that makes you suffer… just deliver a clean punch right to my nose.”

Da-sol even went as far as saying something like this. He stood up from his seat, stepped in front of Jae-gyeong, and closed his eyes.

“If you crush it completely, I can change the shape of my nose to a different one through reconstructive surgery, or if not that, I could break down the cheekbones—”

“W-W-Wait a second, what on earth are you talking about, Mr. Da-sol…”

‘How is it that Mr. Da-sol flusters a person so thoroughly every single time he opens his mouth?’ His complexion turning pale, Jae-gyeong held onto Da-sol.

“Please open your eyes and speak…”

‘Please don’t keep your eyes closed like someone who has firmly resolved to destroy his own face… please…’ Jae-gyeong felt like he was going to cry again because Da-sol’s extreme mindset was simply too terrifying.

“If you dislike violent methods, I can just get plastic surgery.”

“No, I mean, why on earth would you do that…?”

Because the flow of the conversation was entirely too bizarre, Jae-gyeong could not bring himself to his senses at all. ‘Didn’t he just confess to me a moment ago? Then why is he suddenly talking about fixing his face?’
