‘What is “ordinary”?’

Vermouth had never been ordinary for even a single moment since the day he was born. This was especially true from the time he was chosen by the Goddess at a young age and his talents were confirmed. In a world where the threat of demons was immediately pressing, the personality of a special child was not considered important. He was taught basic etiquette, but that was all. Consequently, Vermouth was fundamentally selfish and arrogant.

“Ordinary, is it?”

Because he did not know what “ordinary” was, it became the most difficult thing of all. Vermouth held a tablet, which he was now quite accustomed to, and searched for information regarding ordinariness. However, because he had never experienced it, he could not tell to what extent a certain range fell into that category. Thus, the person summoned was Yoon So-ra, who currently managed Vermouth’s schedule.

“I want to know what an ordinary romantic relationship is.”

Yoon So-ra, who had rushed over thinking there might be something serious to discuss, widened her eyes at the word that popped out of nowhere.

“R—Romantic relationship?”

“Ms. Yoon So-ra, have you ever been in a relationship?”

Before asking further, Vermouth posed a question to confirm whether Yoon So-ra was an experienced person.

“Of course I have!”

There was no falsehood to be seen in Yoon So-ra as she answered. Certainly, Yoon So-ra had been in a relationship. Even if it had collapsed after a few months because they could hardly meet due to her incredibly busy work at the Bureau.

‘There were so many things I wanted to do.’

But she couldn’t.

“But why are you asking that? Is it because of the ordinary relationship you mentioned earlier?”

“Yes. I have rarely requested help from others before.”

In Lancia, he had never done so at all. This was because he was usually the one receiving requests for help.

“No matter how much I search, I cannot figure out this field.”

Even amidst war, love blossoms, but Vermouth had never specifically tried to look into it. Furthermore, families with good bloodlines usually undergo arranged marriages through exchanges between households. Though he had run away from his family and acted as he pleased, he would have undergone the same procedure if he had not become the servant of the Goddess.

“W—Who is the partner? No, if it’s hard to say, you don’t have to! I just think it would be better for planning if I knew.”

Yoon So-ra asked hesitantly, but the answer came out coolly.

“It’s Ian.”

“Is his last name by any chance ‘Choi’?”

“Yes. That is my understanding.”

“So you’re saying it’s Choi Ian, the younger brother of the Stigma Guild Master? The one who was determined to be an S-rank healer this time?”

“That is correct.”

“Oh my god!”

Choi Ian is a man! Moreover, Yoon So-ra was well aware that Choi Jae-heon was a severe brocon toward his brother. Her cousin, Yoon Tae-gyeom, was Choi Jae-heon’s friend, after all!

‘How should I handle this?’

Yoon So-ra took a deep breath.

“First of all, you are dating after mutual consent, right?”

“Yes. Lord Ian has accepted me, and I have decided to devote my life to protecting him for the rest of my days.”

She wasn’t sure how that was the same as dating, but for now, it probably meant they would be together for life, right? It was impossible to know exactly when the two of them started dating, but at least one thing was clear.

Vermouth knows nothing about romance. He was a person who was too perfect, but for that very reason, he was clumsy with things an average person would know. Therefore, her own role, Yoon So-ra’s role, would be important here. Yoon So-ra clenched her fists and pumped herself up.

“Alright. I’ll help you!”

“Thank you. In that case, what should we do first?”

What is needed for a fully grown adult man to carry on a relationship? Yoon So-ra squeezed out her limited dating experience.

“First, let’s set up a couple’s phone.”

Until now, Vermouth had carried around a mobile phone roughly handed to him by the Bureau. However, he sometimes threw it just anywhere, as if even that were a nuisance.

“Conventionally, communication between lovers must be easy.”

“That seems like a good opinion.”

Vermouth humbly accepted Yoon So-ra’s opinion.

“What about a date? Lord Ian seems to want to try going on a date. When I looked it up, it said that ordinary couples usually go to a cafe after a meal on their first date. They also watch movies.”

“That’s the standard.”

However, she had to think about the aftermath. Vermouth, who even had a fan club, and Ian, who had caused an equally large sensation, dating in a place where others could see? Just imagining what kind of situation would occur was terrifying.

“But both of you are celebrities. In that case, you should consider other methods as well. How about a home date?”
