The Villain’s Aide Has Run Away - Chapter 53.1
When Leslun shook his head, his sweat-soaked hair swayed.
“I–I’m sorry.”
“I didn’t ask for an apology. I asked what you ate.”
“That is… I’m sorry.”
Kailos clicked his tongue at the unusually frustrating sight of Leslun.
“I don’t like that sort of thing. What changes just because you say sorry? Like this…”
He lifted Leslun’s chin.
“Ugh.”
Even the lightest touch seemed to register as stimulation, and a faint moan escaped Leslun’s lips as his face flushed even redder. Kailos muttered with a strange expression.
“Just panting with a red face like that.”
“S–sorry…”
Now, even uttering a single word seemed difficult, and Leslun could only wheeze as he breathed.
“Do you know what I was going to do today?”
Kailos spoke while staring at his flushed lips.
“I was going to reap the kindness I’ve sown up until now. Do you know how much I’ve been anticipating it?”
He had intended to firmly tell him not to trust the world so easily. Yet it was obvious that saying so now would not sink in.
On the contrary, it felt as if the world itself was warning Kailos that not everything would go according to his will. Forcing himself to suppress the hollow feeling, Kailos let out a sigh as he looked down at Leslun.
Now, regret was meaningless. The matter at hand came first.
“Shall I find you a partner?”
Leslun forced his eyes open to try to look at Kailos.
“If you keep holding back like this, you’ll be suffering for days.”
He muttered quietly, brushing at Leslun’s collar. He meant to blame his stubborn aide, but what showed faintly between the fabric was pale skin.
“I’ll need to have it checked to be sure, but the simplest and easiest solution is to have intercourse. That way it’ll be over in a single night.”
“Your… Highness, I…”
Leslun tried to step back but lacked the strength, only staggering. For him now, just suppressing the surging stimulation throughout his body was overwhelming.
His hardened nipples trembled even when brushed by the thin shirt, and his legs had no strength.
“How could anyone properly penetrate you when you’re staggering like that?”
Kailos shook his head, then suddenly seemed to think differently.
“Then again, it doesn’t necessarily have to be you doing the penetrating.”
The Leslun he had seen at the academy library and the Leslun now, trembling with his legs drawn in, were one and the same.
It was from that moment he had begun to see him differently, and Kailos’s confusion had begun.
Leslun had yet to fully settle at his side. Though he carried out every task faithfully, Kailos had never heard an oath of loyalty from him.
A way came to mind to keep such a Leslun bound immovably to him.
As his thoughts slowly organized, Kailos’s expression brightened.
“If you want to resent someone, blame Blue. He’s the one who lit the fuse.”
Of course, Leslun could not possibly understand, but Kailos spoke as he pleased.
“No, you could thank Blue. If not for him, I might have hurt you.”
Like Kailos, Leslun had come with nothing. But if one looked carefully, his hands held much.
He wondered what expression he would make if those things were taken from him, and how he would react if he were told they were nothing after all.
He knew it stemmed only from his own wretched heart. His parents had always scolded him for his inadequacy, and perhaps they had been right.
Still, he wanted to have it. It had been a long time since he had felt such desire to possess.
But in the end, when he unraveled everything, it had been Leslun who saved Miroi and caught his eye.
Kailos watched every moment of Leslun writhing at the slightest brush against his clothes.
“Besides, you’re my aide. I can’t just attach anyone to you.”
“Your Highness…”
Even in his dazed state, Leslun seemed to understand those words and shook his head. At some point, his eyes had grown wet with tears.
Wanting to see him more clearly, Kailos held his face, and Leslun let out only a weak moan.
“Think carefully. What if the one who embraces you tries to uncover my secrets?”
“No, never.”
“No? The bed is the very place where every secret leaks out.”
Even before he finished speaking, Kailos softly brushed up Leslun’s chin.
