The Villain’s Aide Has Run Away - Chapter 93.1
Kailos was right. If he hadn’t come to rescue him, Leslun would have been facing Count Camilo from the opposite perspective, with the count looking down on him while he was bound.
Leslun touched Kailos’s wet clothing, which clung to his body. Kailos was wearing only a thin, wet shirt that hugged his skin, revealing his form.
As Leslun gently pushed against his chest, the wet collar easily lifted. Leslun unconsciously swallowed.
Kailos casually rested his arm on the edge of the tub, causing his shirt to cling even tighter to his body. The water droplets tracing the contours of his chest were incredibly alluring. Leslun blinked, and a drop of water fell from his eyelashes.
Unable to resist the temptation, Leslun lightly placed his fingertips on Kailos’s chest. His fingers slowly moved downward, and when they caught on a button, they naturally curled.
“Your face is incredibly seductive right now.”
Kailos whispered.
“Why is that? It’s even more alluring than if you were completely naked.”
Leslun felt dizzy. With each rise and fall of the Crown Prince’s chest, he felt like he was losing his mind.
“Leslun.”
Kailos’s warm fingers touched Leslun’s cheek. Leslun leaned into the hand and looked up.
“Where did such a beautiful person come from?”
If anyone else had said that, it would have broken the mood. But Kailos’s words carried an irresistible presence.
“I was rescued from Count Camilo, wasn’t I?”
“That answer was quite disappointing.”
Leslun thought he should at least agree, but Kailos seemed unimpressed by the practical response.
“But… you said you would cherish me.”
Leslun placed both hands on Kailos’s shoulders and slipped his fingers inside the shirt, gently stroking his back.
“You said you would be kinder for my sake.”
He ignored the narrowing of Kailos’s eyes and completely removed the shirt, revealing a body like a statue.
“How much more can you cherish me than you do now?”
Leslun couldn’t help but smile with satisfaction. Should he remove the pants too? Leslun pondered, rolling his eyes, and met Kailos’s gaze.
“I will cherish you. I will treat you with the utmost care and affection. But first, there’s something I need to know.”
The playful smile on Kailos’s lips turned dangerous. The sudden change in atmosphere made Leslun’s body tense.
“Do you dislike me being with Lady Miroi? Do you hope I won’t be?”
Kailos asked while gently stroking Leslun’s stiff shoulders.
Leslun couldn’t answer immediately. The question was one that could decide Kailos’s future and was also a very personal one for Leslun.
As an aide, he could answer, or he could answer as Leslun. So, Leslun hesitated.
The two looked at each other for a moment. Kailos seemed determined not to do anything until Leslun answered.
Finally, Leslun spoke.
“I would prefer you didn’t.”
Leslun wasn’t sure if his answer was for Kailos or for himself. Fortunately, Kailos smiled, lifting one corner of his mouth in satisfaction.
“It’s amazing. You always seem to see right through me. That night was the same.”
“……Will you be kinder to me now that I’ve answered?”
“No.”
He lightly lifted Leslun’s body.
“I’ll be kinder when you’re asleep. From then on.”
Kailos, who had been quietly watching Leslun’s actions, finally moved. The water in the tub rippled.
Before Leslun could say anything, his body floated, and he could only move his mouth.
Kailos placed Leslun’s body on the edge of the tub, and his back touched the tub.
“Just a moment, Your Highness.”
Leslun quickly reached out with both hands, blocking Kailos’s lips, which were about to kiss him.
“Will you be kinder from now on?”
Kailos’s eyes curved into a smile, unperturbed by the unexpected block. He seemed to have expected this.
“…….”
What he said was clearly conveyed through the palm of Leslun’s hand. The sound wasn’t audible, but the palm tingled.
Leslun pulled his hand away, and Kailos kindly repeated himself.
“Next. Tell me about your conversation with the lady.”
He cornered Leslun. Leslun shook his head.
“It was nothing significant.”
“Then there’s no need to hide it.”
The atmosphere felt like an interrogation about the relationship between Leslun and Lady Miroi, which made Leslun feel wronged. Moreover, they hadn’t shared a conversation worthy of such an interrogation.
It was really nothing. If pressed, it was Kailos’s story, so Leslun didn’t want to mention it.
Leslun hesitated for a moment, then lowered his hand. Before the annoying lips could say anything more, he pressed his own lips to them.
As he opened his tightly closed eyes and separated his lips, he realized it was like a child’s kiss, and he felt embarrassed.
“……Kail?”
“I like it. I won’t ask any more questions.”
A wet tongue quickly pushed between their lips. A deep kiss followed. Kailos’s tongue explored Leslun’s narrow mouth, and at the same time, his hands freely caressed his waist.
