The Villain’s Aide Has Run Away - Chapter 92.2
Unable to bear it any longer, Robin stood up abruptly. Miroi lifted her chin gracefully.
Seeming to have finished speaking, she turned to leave, and Robin asked one last question to her back.
“What if I do nothing?”
Miroi stopped in her tracks.
“Then……”
A fleeting shadow of sorrow crossed her eyes, quickly replaced by a steely glint.
“You can try and see how I respond.”
She flashed a confident smile before exiting the parlor. Robin closed his eyes briefly, then tilted his head back and sighed deeply.
“Why are you becoming more like the Crown Prince?”
You said you didn’t want to get engaged, so why are you becoming like him?
“Oh, look at this.”
Kailos carefully placed his hand on Leslun’s bare shoulder. His fingers traced the skin.
“There’s glass here too.”
His voice was low and lazy, tinged with warmth.
“Should I go find them now?”
“There isn’t any.”
Leslun forced a smile and took Kailos’s hand.
“I assure you, there’s none.”
“It must be invisible because it’s glass.”
Kailos tilted his head slightly, continuing his playful teasing.
“It’s cold. Will you hold me?”
Leslun pressed his lips together and looked up at Kailos.
“Of course.”
Kailos opened his arms wide, and Leslun stepped into his embrace. Since they were both shirtless, their bare skin touched immediately.
“Ah, Leslun’s scent.”
The cool breath falling on his nape tickled. Leslun shuddered slightly.
“Your Highness, just for a moment……”
“I wanted to smell you.”
Kailos inhaled deeply, nuzzling Leslun’s shoulder with his nose.
“You smell sweet.”
Leslun shook his head, but Kailos didn’t stop, burying his face in Leslun’s neck.
“Like eating cake wrapped in paper?”
Before Leslun could react to the unexpected comparison, he missed his chance to pull away.
“I’ll smell like sweat.”
“Really? I like that too.”
Kailos wrapped his arms around Leslun’s waist and lifted him, cupping his buttocks. Suddenly, Leslun’s vision rose, and his legs dangled in the air.
Before Leslun could say anything, Kailos started moving.
“Your Highness. Put me down.”
Leslun wrapped his arms around Kailos’s neck, his voice a mix of embarrassment and worry. As Kailos adjusted his hold, Leslun’s body tensed noticeably.
Then, Kailos stopped abruptly. A good idea seemed to have occurred to him, and he suddenly smiled.
“If it bothers you, we can take a bath together. What do you think?”
Kailos headed straight for the bathroom. As the door opened, warm steam rushed out. The distinctive herbal scent of the bathroom tickled their noses, and the moist air enveloped their skin.
It was clear that preparations had been made a while ago.
Leslun unconsciously took a deep breath. His body, which had been tensely cold, began to relax in the warm mist.
The relief was short-lived. Kailos, still holding Leslun, hesitated before stepping into the tub.
“Your Highness, I’m fine. You can go first, and I’ll wait for you……”
“No, I’m not okay. You might run away while I’m gone.”
“Your Highness……”
“So, we have to bathe together.”
Kailos spoke as he already stepped into the tub. His feet sank into the warm water, and small splashes flew.
Leslun’s body shivered slightly at the sensation. Unconsciously, he clung tighter to Kailos’s neck.
“It’s not too hot. It’s fine.”
Kailos whispered softly as he slowly sank deeper into the tub. The warm water rose, covering his body and finally reaching Leslun’s feet.
Starting from his toes, a warm sensation spread through Leslun’s body, and he couldn’t help but sigh softly.
“See? It feels good, so why try to leave?”
Kailos sat down, placing Leslun on his lap. The warm water rose to his waist, enveloping his body and melting away his tension.
Leslun, surrendering to the hot water, looked up at Kailos awkwardly. Kailos gazed down at him with a relaxed smile.
“How is it? You look so pretty leaning against me.”
Kailos’s voice was low and deep. Leslun averted his gaze shyly.
“Now I can really feel that you’re by my side.”
Kailos gently brushed Leslun’s wet hair back. Drops of water fell from his fingertips, tracing Leslun’s cheek and making his heart race.
“If I hadn’t come looking for you, you wouldn’t be here now.”
