Meanwhile, Kang Sa-hyeok wiped his body roughly with the towel Seo Mun-ji-yeon had handed him and asked Kim Mi-young,

“Is that the result of the search?”

“Huh?”

“The Management Bureau.”

“That’s right! Information about Lee In-su has arrived.”

They could have gone to the Management Bureau to check it, but considering how restless Kang Sa-hyeok was, Kim Mi-young had chosen to receive the information at the scene instead.

Keeping her eyes lowered, Kim Mi-young held out the tablet in her hand.

“They say Lee In-su’s last known location was Incheon.”

“Incheon?”

“Yeah. That den of Villains.”

Not all of Incheon was a den of Villains.

But it was also true that there were an unusually large number of Villains hiding there.

Perhaps because Incheon Port was nearby, the situation there had not changed much from the past. The only difference was that the criminals back then had supernatural abilities.

First, they needed to catch Lee In-su. Only then would they be able to find out exactly what kind of situation Min-ha was in.

“Do you have any new clothes?”

Seo Mun-ji-yeon quickly handed him a freshly packaged shirt.

The Guiding had not even managed to calm half of the power rampaging inside him, but there was no more time to delay.

“Mr. Sa-hyeok! You’re leaving already? Your wavelength hasn’t settled down yet!”

Yoo Yeon-seo desperately grabbed Kang Sa-hyeok’s arm and tried to stop him, but he coldly slapped his hand away.

“This is enough.”

“You’re leaving now? Wouldn’t it be better to receive all the Guiding before you go?”

“I think this is a race against time. I can receive the rest of the Guiding later.”

Even this much Guiding was enough to prevent him from going berserk due to his ability use.

Kang Sa-hyeok put on his shirt and walked straight out of the tent.

Yoo Yeon-seo remained behind, biting his lip in frustration, but Sa-hyeok’s eyes were no longer looking at him.

❖ ❖ ❖

A feeling settled over him like fog.

It felt as though he were surrounded by thick fog so dense that he could not see what was in front of him.

Even so, his senses did not become dull. Instead, they remained sensitive and sharp, piercing into him.

This was the sensation Baek Seok-gyol always experienced after using his ability.

The pain and suffering naturally put his nerves on edge.

“It will be lunchtime soon.”

After hearing Ma Jin-cheol’s voice, a place where Min-ha might come to mind.

He particularly liked the kitchen.

Baek Seok-gyol headed toward the kitchen where his Guide was likely to be, his steps slow.

Min-ha was allowed to freely wander around ZERO’s hideout on the condition that he was accompanied by Sui.

Of course, that did not mean they truly intended to let him wander around freely.

If they had, they would not have assigned Sui to accompany him.

It was merely freedom on the surface.

Baek Seok-gyol gazed at the faded world around him.

From the open kitchen came a cacophony of loud voices.

Normally, even that would have grated sharply on his already sensitive nerves, but strangely, he began to feel at peace.

As soon as he crossed the threshold, it was, as expected, a complete mess.

The dining tables and chairs, which normally would have been neatly arranged, had been pushed off to one side, while a large sheet of vinyl had been spread across the floor.

And in front of a silver basin placed on top of the vinyl, a ZERO Esper and Guide were sobbing their eyes out.

Beside them, Sui looked flustered as she frantically pulled out tissues and held them toward the two.

But because of their tears, they could not even grasp the tissues properly and were merely flailing around.

And every time they did, red seasoning splattered from the pink rubber gloves worn by Park Jung-woo.

“Wait, wait! Come to the sink first! We need to wash it off with water!”

Min-ha had joined in as well.

Among them, Park Jung-woo had the most miserable appearance of all.

Min-ha took his hand and led him toward the place where there was water.

“This is a uniquely spectacular mess.”

Ma Jin-cheol’s words were exactly right.

But now, Baek Seok-gyol was about to jump into that mess himself.

“Oohng, my eyes hurt.”

Sniffling and twisting his body, Park Jung-woo was barely brought to the sink by Min-ha.

Min-ha immediately reached for the water and was about to turn it on.

Then, as he bent down to wash Park Jung-woo’s eyes, a rush of cold air suddenly approached from behind.

Startled, Min-ha raised his head.

Baek Seok-gyol was standing in front of him.

“You’re back?”

When Min-ha asked with his eyes wide open, Baek Seok-gyol nodded and abruptly grabbed Min-ha’s hand, pulling him toward himself.

At that moment, Min-ha could also feel the prickling energy.
