The Villain’s Recipe - Chapter 20.2
“It doesn’t matter. I need Lee In-su.”
“Can I hear the reason?”
“Lee Min-ha.”
Upon hearing the name, the eyes behind Ma Jin-cheol’s glasses flashed.
“Mr. Lee Min-ha is doing well, though.”
“A person who lived ordinarily ended up in a villain’s den. And he’s doing well?”
It was true. Lee Min-ha was living quite peacefully in ZERO’s hideout. He did not know what Baek Seok-gyol had done, but he showed a much more stable attitude and moved about actively. Not long ago, after seeing the recluse clairvoyant, he was even manufacturing high-calorie, healthy food to fatten him up as well. Even if he told him all of this, however, Kang Sa-hyeok would never believe it.
While conversing with Kang Sa-hyeok, Ma Jin-cheol opened a port as usual. Ryu Seo-ho leaped into it without hesitation, and his destination was right behind Lee In-su.
By that point, Kang Sa-hyeok also noticed the situation and turned his body, but Ryu Seo-ho dragged Lee In-su straight into the port. All of that happened in an instant.
“Aaaaaah!”
Lee In-su was successfully brought over. However, at the very end, Kang Sa-hyeok grabbed his arm tightly and twisted it so that it got torn off.
“Oh my?”
Seong Mi-na blinked and stared at Lee In-su, who was covered in blood and screaming. Leaving those people behind, Kang Sa-hyeok vaulted backward and ran while holding Lee In-su’s severed arm.
Psychometry allows one to read memories from a place. However, a higher grade than that reads memories from a person. Reading memories from a person’s body part is undoubtedly more certain than from a place where many people have brushed past. Knowing that as well, the moment he secured Lee In-su’s arm, Kang Sa-hyeok had spun his body right around. At least he didn’t stubbornly hold on to get the head.
“Shall we chase them?”
At Ryu Seo-ho’s words, Ma Jin-cheol shook his head. Lee In-su didn’t know the exact address of ZERO’s hideout anyway. Whenever outsiders visited, they always used Ma Jin-cheol’s port.
“Forget it. Let’s just deal with what’s left.”
At the cold words, Seong Mi-na swung her fist straight into Lee In-su’s head. Thanks to that, he became a body that no longer needed to feel pain. Now he wouldn’t be able to cling to Lee Min-ha acting like an uncle anymore either.
“Ah, what a pity.”
Seong Mi-na smacked her lips as she watched the flames that had already turned into a dot.

Succeeded!
Kang Sa-hyeok returned with a part of Lee In-su’s body to Kim Mi-yeong, who was staying at an Incheon hotel. She was startled seeing Kang Sa-hyeok covered in blood, but soon realized it was someone else’s blood and felt relieved.
“Why do you do such dangerous things! If you had waited just a little longer, you could have gone with the others!”
Without realizing it, her hand rose toward Kang Sa-hyeok’s back. Even so, he smiled despite her fierce touch. Smiling while covered in blood and holding a severed human arm made his appearance bizarre. Kim Mi-yeong withdrew the hand she was about to strike down again. He was definitely an obedient and righteous junior, but sometimes he had a chilling side. When he fixes on one thing, he becomes far too obsessed with it.
“Still, this is enough, right?”
“It’s enough. I’ll pack it up properly and send it to the Management Bureau.”
Besides, he managed to enter the hotel in that state. It was a relief just that the police didn’t come running. No, maybe they would start showing up soon. Cleaning up the aftermath of all this work would be Kim Mi-yeong’s task.
“When will the results come out?”
“Right now. That’s why I tagged along, you know.”
She hadn’t wanted to hold a middle-aged man’s arm and do psychometry. There was no field staff member at the Management Bureau better at psychometry than Kim Mi-yeong. Sighing, she grabbed the arm and traced the memories engraved in the flesh.
‘The head is definitely more reliable, if possible.’
Since it is the place where a person’s memories are stored, it is easier to read and greater in volume. Still, there were things she could tell just from the arm. The rascal named Lee In-su was a bastard even to the family sharing his bloodline. He hated his younger sister, detested his father, and sold his nephew to a villain organization. However, she could not find the most important thing.
