Jihyeok-hyung’s answer was far too vague.

I wasn’t even sure whether I’d been famous during the entrance ceremony. I hadn’t given a speech or anything. I’d only gone to the auditorium, gone to the classroom, and then gone home.

“There was a bit of a rumor that a lot of good-looking guys had entered as first-years.”

So he’d been talking about my face. Right, I was a side top and Kim Jihwan was the main bottom, so of course we’d both be fairly good-looking. Still, I hadn’t expected to become known for my face even at an all-boys’ high school.

“What did you mean earlier when you said ‘you too’? Are you the same as me…?”

At my question, Jihyeok-hyung nodded without answering. So he really was a transmigrator. I was so strangely glad to meet one that the corners of my mouth rose for no reason.

“Ah, then you must be having a hard time too, hyung!”

“I didn’t ask because I was planning to go around blabbing about it, so don’t worry.”

“Huh?”

Blabbing? Even if he went around talking about the system, what good would that do? Wait, was he not talking about the system?

No, surely not….

“…Can I contact you if anything difficult happens from now on, hyung?”

I subtly edged closer and asked in a suggestive tone. Jihyeok-hyung’s ears turned red, and he nodded with an innocent-looking face. His reaction all but confirmed it, so I felt as though I’d done something bad.

“Thank you, hyung.”

After thanking Jihyeok-hyung, I brought the conversation to a suitable close.

Despite having long been known as Kim Jihwan’s doormat, I’d never once heard anyone say we were dating or call me gay. Yet someone had immediately caught on just because my heart had fluttered once. I could fake my expression, but I couldn’t hide my face turning red.

This is a little embarrassing, isn’t it?

Fifth period, career guidance class.

I sat behind Kim Jihwan.

Today was the day we watched audiovisual material. The teacher handed the video over to a smart-looking guy in the front row and left the classroom.

“Hey, I’m turning off the lights-.”

Click.

The classroom lights went out, and the beam projector cast an image onto the screen. Some students watched attentively, while nearly everyone sitting in the back was already out cold. The guy sitting next to me had no connection to studying either, so he immediately slumped over like a wild animal hit by a tranquilizer dart.

It was the perfect time to farm Affection Level.

I pulled whatever coupons my hand happened to grab out of the envelope, then put the rest inside the desk drawer.

“Kim Jihwan.”

Then, staring at the smooth back of Kim Jihwan’s head, I tore several Affection Level Increase Coupons at once without hesitation.

“?”

He turned around and stared at me without answering.

00:05:00

Thump, thump, thump.

“You could’ve at least said something before leaving at lunchtime….”

My heart began pounding as though an engine had started.

I’d called Kim Jihwan so I could use the tickets, but when he turned around and stared at me, I deliberately struck up a conversation as naturally as though that had been why I’d called him. Even while I spoke, my heart continued to churn steadily. It felt as though someone had grabbed my heart and was forcibly kneading it.

Wow, I really feel like I’m going to throw up this time.

“Why should I?”

After answering my question about why he’d gone off alone during lunch, Kim Jihwan whipped his head back around. From the brief glimpse I’d caught, his complexion looked unusually pale today, as though he wasn’t feeling well.

Love Kim Jihwan.

Affection Level 31%

Regardless, the Affection Level rose rapidly. I felt good, but at the same time, I was dying to get out of there. It was unbearable. To shake off the urge to run away, I focused on the back of Kim Jihwan’s head, but my gaze soon slid down to his slender nape.

The white light from the beam projector spreading through the dark classroom made the fine hairs on the back of his neck stand out and glimmer. An impulse like the urge to step onto soft white snow no one had ever trodden on came knocking inside me.

Affection Level 34%

As I stared at Jihwan’s perfectly straight back, his unbowed shoulders, and the back of the hand holding his pen, my breathing grew slightly ragged, and I silently exhaled a hot breath.

Thump, thump, thump-.

His clean, unpierced earlobe, the rounded swell of his cheek, and his slender jawline. My head was so full of Jihwan that I grew slightly dizzy, and I grabbed the blank page of my open notebook and violently crumpled it in my fist.

Affection Level 37%

My mind was no longer satisfied with admiring the back of Jihwan’s head. It even began conjuring up the face I couldn’t see. My mouth went completely dry, and my eyes grew so hot that my eyeballs felt ready to burst.

00:03:51

I want to grab him by the chin and force apart his thin, resisting lips. An image comes to mind of rubbing against his wet, scarlet tongue and sharp canine teeth. I wanted to force something to bend, tear it apart, break it, and render it powerless.

A violent and abstract sequence flashed through my mind. Making him completely unable to move, then squeezing him until he burst, licking him, and biting him over and over. Gradually, my thoughts blurred, my hearing grew distant, and my field of vision narrowed.

Drip-drip, drip-.

00:01:48

My nose was bleeding.

It ran down my chin.

Thud-thud, thud-thud.

Affection Level 44%

My senses drifted away.

I wished someone would please do something about me.

My mind became utterly simple, filling with a single thought.

Nothing but Kim Jihwan comes to mind.

Affection Level 48%

It feels like my brain is burning.

Ah, Kim Jihwan. Do something to me.

Jihwan-ah.

Please.

Jab!

I stabbed the back of my hand with my mechanical pencil.

“…Ngh.”

I quietly stood up, biting back and swallowing a scream between my teeth. Without drawing anyone’s attention, I slipped out of the classroom and headed for the bathroom. As though reflecting my racing pulse, thin blood streamed ceaselessly from the back of my hand, ran down my fingers, and dripped onto the floor, spattering across it.

I entered the first bathroom stall I saw, shoved the mechanical pencil I’d stabbed my hand with into the trash can, and roughly wiped the blood from my face.

“…I’m seriously losing it.”

00:00:32

I looked down at my taut, swollen crotch, then kicked the blameless bathroom wall with a bang.

00:00:00

“I don’t like pain….”

If I hadn’t stabbed the back of my hand, I couldn’t guarantee what I might have done to Kim Jihwan right then and there.

As I collapsed helplessly beneath the merciless hormonal assault of the Affection Level Increase Coupons, I vowed never to use three of them at once again.

Perhaps because this was the body of a high school boy in his prime, the desire didn’t subside easily, and in the end, I couldn’t return to the classroom for the entirety of fifth period.
