“You’re in the Swimming Club, and you forgot the pool was being disinfected? Fucking….”

“Hanrim-ie must’ve been really excited.”

“Ugh… Still… since I already got the food, I’m going to eat it all.”

Either spicy stir-fried pork or sweet-and-sour pork alone would have been enough to make lunchtime enjoyable, but today we had both. Not eating them would be a loss.

I eagerly devoured my lunch, then ran around the hill behind the school and the staff-only parking lot like a madman. The outfit was already ridiculous enough, but if it burst during the performance, I would be humiliated in front of the entire school. Imagining myself in front of hundreds of people, looking like a pervert in torn clothing, sent a chill down my spine.

“Haa….”

But the heavens were indifferent and refused to acknowledge my efforts.

I tried to change in a corner of the backstage waiting room partitioned off by a temporary curtain, but I ultimately fell into despair. The buttons that had fastened just fine yesterday looked as though they were on the verge of bursting today.

“I can do this…!”

I was a proud son of Korea. A man among men who had completed his full term of service in the Marine Corps. There was no way I would lose to a mere button!

“Hup…!”

Ah, please, please. I only needed to fasten the chest. Please…!

Ping-.

But the heavens were indifferent to my efforts…. The buttons and the fabric were screaming for mercy. I didn’t want to torture them any further either, so I desperately searched for another solution.

“Should I loosen the laces in the back instead of the buttons…?”

Then it occurred to me that loosening the corset-like laces on the back might work.

“Is anyone outside? If you are, come in here and loosen these laces for me!”

Without even raising my head to check, I blindly stuck my back out past the curtain. A large hand abruptly pushed me back inside, and its owner entered behind the curtain with me.

There weren’t many people at this school taller than me, and this feeling was….

“Cha Mugwonhyeoktaejupil.”

“?”

Ah, right. Cha Gwonhyeok wouldn’t know that.

I calmed my startled heart and spoke to Cha Gwonhyeok as though nothing had happened.

“You were outside? You scared me. Say something before pushing me.”

“There are girls outside the door too. I thought you’d be embarrassed.”

Ah, right. I still had to get my makeup done.

Had he pushed me back behind the curtain because he was thinking of me? I felt strangely grateful and proud of him, so my tension eased a little.

“Thanks, Gwonhyeok-ah.”

I turned around and smiled. I was startled by how much closer he was than I had expected, but perhaps because I had relaxed a little, I didn’t dislike it.

“…It’s cramped, so don’t move around too much.”

Cha Gwonhyeok said as he took hold of the corset laces. Just as he said, it was practically torture for two huge men to occupy a space that could barely fit one person. Like human Tetris, his thigh was pressed directly against my crotch, and we could barely wriggle our hands.

God, it’s cramped. Uncomfortable. Suffocating.

Rustle, rustle-.

“Haa, is it not working? Is it difficult? Should I just take it off, reset everything, and put it on again?”

For some reason, my breathing was growing short. Maybe it was because this wasn’t a suitable place for two 36.5-degree living organisms to press against each other in the middle of summer. It was gradually getting hotter, so it seemed better to take everything off and start again before my face became drenched in sweat. At this rate, I would need to splash cold water down my back before getting my makeup done.

“Stay still.”

Cha Gwonhyeok spoke briefly, telling me not to move. But my vision was beginning to spin, and my head hurt. If only there were at least a window. I had no idea how he was fumbling with the poorly made corset laces sewn into the slippery, cheap fabric, but my compressed chest remained tightly constricted.

I was growing so sensitive and irritable that I couldn’t tell whether it was the laces tightening or my nerves. Beads of sweat prickled across my back, and then one trail ran down so clearly that I could feel every bit of it.

I felt Cha Gwonhyeok’s warm breath as he concentrated with his face close to my back. My lower body, stiff from tension, squirmed on its own. At the movement, the large body behind me flinched sharply, then a hand gripped my thigh tightly.

“Hanrim-ah, what’s this?”

I recoiled in surprise at Cha Gwonhyeok’s hot, large hand. But I deliberately didn’t show that I was startled. It felt as though the atmosphere would become strange if I did.

“What do you mean, what’s this…? What are you talking about?”

Unable to understand what he meant, I answered with a question. At my response, Cha Gwonhyeok loosened his grip and lightly flipped up the back of my skirt.

“Why aren’t you wearing underwear beneath the safety shorts?”
