Felix answered languidly as he stroked the back of Rueg’s round head with his large hand.

“It’s nice to see you being so responsible.”

Even though he sounded like he had listened, Felix only kept playing with Rueg’s blond hair spread across the pillow.

“…You did hear what I said, right?”

“Of course, I heard.”

“Then why aren’t you closing your eyes?”

When Rueg asked, narrowing his eyes, Felix shrugged. He looked like someone who had no intention of sleeping at all.

‘He doesn’t even look sleepy…’

Could it be that he just had too much stamina left, so he couldn’t sleep?

Even before he was transported here, back when he lived in Korea, there had been something people said.

If you suffer from insomnia, you should first exhaust your body through exercise. If you then fell asleep like you passed out, it was fake insomnia, but if you still couldn’t sleep even then, it was real insomnia.

“They say there’s another way to deal with insomnia.”

“A way? What kind of way?”

“Intense exercise. I heard that if you use up all your energy during the day, you’ll fall asleep like you’ve passed out at night… Ah, but it seems like Your Highness already exercises…”

From what Rueg remembered, Felix exercised in the morning around the time Rueg went to breakfast.

“Maybe it’s because you only exercise in the morning… If it’s because you have too much stamina left, then maybe you should exercise at night too…”

“…What?”

“Come to think of it, my stamina has been lacking lately too. Should we look for something we can do together?”

“……”

At Rueg’s words, Felix stared at his face without saying anything.

The moment he heard the words ‘night exercise’, Felix’s thoughts had already been thoroughly corrupted, and only one kind of exercise came to mind.

And something they could do at night, together. For a young man in his prime, there was only one thing that could mean.

With just that brief imagination, blood rushed downward, and Felix narrowed his eyes.

It didn’t seem like Rueg had said it with any particular intention.

This utterly innocent Rueg Verdic had clearly spoken words that stirred a man’s desire without thinking.

Feeling oddly provoked, Felix lifted the corner of his lips and said,

“I happen to know a very good kind of night exercise. Would you like to try it together?”

“A very good night exercise? What is it?”

Just as expected, Rueg tilted his head with a puzzled expression, and Felix immediately turned over and climbed on top of him.

Suddenly trapped between Felix’s arms, Rueg’s body flinched sharply, and he simply blinked like a fool as he looked up at him.

Crimson eyes filled with deep desire collided in the air with golden eyes filled with nothing but confusion.

“Your Highness?”

At that voice, which didn’t contain even a trace of tension, Felix let out a short laugh and collapsed his weight down.

“Why are you doing this?”

That completely innocent expression, as if he truly didn’t know anything.

Feeling a little mischievous, Felix lightly bit the tip of his nose.

When Rueg complained that it hurt and turned away, he even pulled the blanket over Felix and said,

“Since you’re already lying down, go to sleep!”

“Alright, alright. I can’t do anything with my aide being this scary. If it’s time to sleep, then I should sleep.”

Muttering with a sigh, Felix snapped his fingers, and the lights illuminating the room all went out.

Then, as Felix naturally wrapped an arm around Rueg’s waist and pulled him into his embrace—

Thump, thump, thump, thump.

He could hear Rueg’s heartbeat racing at an unbelievable speed.

‘Is he feeling unwell?’

Startled, Felix immediately lifted his upper body and looked at him.

The ear peeking out between his honey-colored hair was flushed bright red.

“…Pfft.”

A laugh slipped out before Felix could stop it, and he quickly turned his head away. So he had been pretending not to understand earlier?

“…Don’t.”

“Cough, ahem. What did you say?”

“…Don’t laugh!”

Rueg shouted and pulled the blanket all the way over his head to hide his face. Seeing that, Felix’s eyes widened for a moment before he finally burst out laughing.
