Eunwoo’s voice, unmistakably firm, made Taehyuk’s face contort.

He didn’t respond for a long moment, then slightly stepped back, as if preparing to retreat.

‘Did I hurt his pride or something…’

He should’ve approached someone like this more slowly.

Just as that thought passed through his mind, Taehyuk suddenly pulled Eunwoo into his arms. Then, pushing him against the wall so he had no room to escape, he spoke.

“If I ask for your permission, will you give me everything?”

“…What?”

“If I say I want only me to see you, only me to touch you, and that I want to mercilessly dig into places no one else has ever seen—if I say I don’t want you going anywhere but this house—and I ask you to let me… will you?”

Taehyuk, who always mixed informal and formal speech like a habit, now revealed his bare self.

The image of a man who wants to dominate from the top.

Revealing his desires without hiding them, Ji Taehyuk glared at Eunwoo with a growl.

The moment Eunwoo gave his permission, Taehyuk would try to possess everything about him.

And if Eunwoo ever voiced dissatisfaction, Taehyuk would likely say, “I gave you the choice,” using it to silence all protests.

Knowing this, Eunwoo responded with a faint smile.

“What you’re saying… it doesn’t sound like you’re treating me like a temporary guest anymore.”

“So I looked like a guy who’d rub tongues with just some houseguest? Is that it, Lee Eunwoo?”

“…”

“Go out with me. I’ll let you go if you get sick of me.”

He acted like nothing scared him.

Now, he only spoke things that guaranteed a response.

Ji Taehyuk tried to protect himself with pushy words.

That Eunwoo’s feelings weren’t needed. That they could try dating, and if Taehyuk grew bored, he’d let go.

All of it—spoken under the assumption that Eunwoo would reject him.

“I can give you anything you want, Lee Eunwoo. You know I’ve got plenty.”

“…”

“What do you want? Money? Property?”

Once again, the man who had once been stripped bare tried to protect himself.

Eunwoo, who had been quietly listening to all this, met his eyes and said:

“There is something I want.”

“…”

“I want you.”

At the completely unexpected answer, Taehyuk’s eyes widened.

Eunwoo continued slowly.

“I’m greedier than you think.”

“…”

“Wherever I go, whatever I’m doing, I’ll message you. Then you should reply right away.”

“…”

“If I’m not near you, I’ll tell you who I met, what we talked about—every little thing. And about wanting to dig into places no one else has seen…”

Eunwoo paused and wrapped his arms around his lower belly.

The sensation that made his body tingle just imagining it.

Something he had feared so much when living as Cielo, now came to him as a form of anticipation.

“I’ll allow it. But in return… give yourself to me.”

“…”

“I’ll sit quietly in the palm of your hand. So in return, give the man named Ji Taehyuk into mine.”

At that, Taehyuk let out a scoff.

“You want me to put on my own leash and hand it to you?”

“Exactly.”

“You think I’d do that?”

Truthfully, he wasn’t sure.

If Taehyuk said right now, “You’re not worth that much to me,” the feelings Eunwoo had harbored would surely crumble.

Even so.

Even if that were the case.

“Yes.”

Eunwoo answered, firm and concise.

The moment he finished, Taehyuk’s black eyes met Eunwoo’s shimmering hazel ones in mid-air.

Loosening his grip on Eunwoo’s body pinned to the wall, Taehyuk pressed their foreheads together and asked:

“Fine. Let’s do that. Take my leash.”

“…”

“But you’d better be ready. I bite, even if you’re my owner.”

He may hand over the leash, but he wasn’t going to surrender control.

At that declaration, Eunwoo narrowed his eyes.

He gently nipped the tip of Taehyuk’s nose as he replied.

“I can bite too, you know.”

“…”

“But I hope we won’t become the kind of relationship that hurts each other.”

Eunwoo raised his hand and softly caressed Taehyuk’s cheek,

like he was touching something precious. The gentle gesture made Taehyuk’s expression soften.

“If that’s what you want, Lee Eunwoo, then I’ll do just that.”

“…!”

“It’s not just anyone anymore. You’re the person I have to be mindful of now.”

It felt like the code between two emotionally reserved people had finally been broken.

As if they were ready now to speak in a simpler language, rather than complicated signals.

Taehyuk kissed Eunwoo’s chin with loud smacks and said:

“So, can I kiss you now?”

“…If you say my name a little more sweetly, I’ll think about it.”

“Eunwoo.”

“…”

“Let’s kiss.”

The moment the words left his mouth, Eunwoo reached up and wrapped his arms around Taehyuk’s neck.

Tilting his head the same way Taehyuk had, he pressed their lips together. A quiet chuckle escaped Taehyuk.

“So sly.”

As their lips parted and the warmth of flesh slipped between them, it felt like the emptiness in their hearts was finally being filled.

They would likely fight a lot moving forward.

Their ways of expressing love were different, and clumsy, and there would be days when they hurt each other even without meaning to.

But as long as they had moments like this to talk things through,

they would get through it—

until the day they could both feel, deep in their hearts, that they were truly happy.
