The Saint Wants to Rest - Chapter 19.1
I did not want to go this far. Ian grabbed Choi Jae-heon’s clothes and pulled him down gently. When Ian followed by kissing him on the cheek, Choi Jae-heon’s eyes widened into circles.
What Ian did was not a simple kiss. The moment his lips touched the skin, power surged through Choi Jae-heon, and his body felt lighter at the same time. On top of that, a light sense of pleasure was added. The moment he felt it, Choi Jae-heon’s gaze turned fierce.
“Hyung, you might already know this, but I can restore other people’s power.”
Until now, there had never been a healer like this. One could treat wounds or detoxify poisons, but the only thing that could restore exhausted power was time. Yet, to restore power with just a single kiss? This was a story that would make any Awakened lose their mind.
“You.”
Choi Jae-heon struggled to suppress his anger as much as possible. None of this was Ian’s fault. It was not as if he had obtained this ability because he wanted it. Therefore, Choi Jae-heon tried not to think about who Ian had performed such acts with while he was missing.
However, since humans cannot always act rationally, he grit his teeth instinctively. He had been concerned about this before, but it had not truly hit home until now. Experiencing it for himself made it feel real.
“Did you do this to other bastards, too?”
At the words that popped out, Ian’s eyes began to shift around. He seemed unwilling to answer that particular part. Seeing that, the anger Choi Jae-heon had been trying to suppress came rushing up.
“I didn’t do it often, though.”
The answer that came after a long silence grated on Choi Jae-heon’s nerves even more. So this is what it feels like to have a fire raging inside. He gripped Ian’s shoulders tightly.
“Ian. From now on, let us not use this ability.”
“Huh?”
“This is a power that should not exist.”
Ian opened his mouth with an expression that said he had much to say.
“Why? With this, I can help you, Hyung.”
Choi Jae-heon recalled Hong Seo-yun , who used to try to show Ian suggestive things under the pretext of providing sex education when they were younger. Hong Seo-yun had shouted that it was time for Ian to know. However, Choi Jae-heon had blocked him, saying Ian did not need to know yet. He wanted to protect Ian and keep him pure forever.
I shouldn’t have done that.
While he taught Ian that he should not let others touch his body, he had not considered the reverse case. Ian was so kind-hearted that he likely could not turn away from the pain of others.
“No.”
Choi Jae-heon spoke firmly.
“You don’t just do things like this recklessly.”
What if some crazy bastard lost his mind and started clinging to him! If Ian looked this lovely in Choi Jae-heon’s eyes, would it be any different for others? As an older brother, he tried his best to correct Ian’s flawed way of thinking.
“No, I’m not saying I’ll do it recklessly. I just want to help you, Hyung.”
“Still, no. What if someone sees?”
“A younger brother can’t even kiss his older brother?”
“Ian. Usually, brothers do not kiss once they reach this age.”
“People do it in foreign countries.”
“This is Korea.”
No matter how much Ian tried to persuade him, Choi Jae-heon did not budge.
“I’m not a child anymore. I can help you too.”
Ian tried to speak calmly. He was saying this because he was worried about his brother, so it felt cold of him to refuse to this extent.
“Absolutely not.”
Ian’s lips pouted out. It really seemed like Choi Jae-heon would not listen no matter what was said. Ian wanted to raise his voice and ask, “If I see you get hurt later, don’t you think I’ll regret it?” but instead, he squeezed his eyes shut.
Fine. If Hyung says no, I’ll just use another method.
[Declaration of Sanctuary]
A brilliant light exploded from Ian and spread to the surroundings.
He released his own holy power to declare the vicinity a sanctuary. Within the sanctuary, Ian could do whatever he pleased. He could stop an opponent if he wished, heal them, or even hide himself.
“Hyung, don’t move.”
At Ian’s words, Choi Jae-heon’s body jerked to a halt. The moment he tried to call out to Ian in panic, Ian’s body vanished from before his eyes. By the time his body began to move again, Ian was not there.
“Ian!”
He called out urgently, but there was no reply.

Ian walked the streets, feeling quite grumpy. He left the neighborhood, which was empty because people had evacuated, and headed toward the nearest bus stop.
“Let’s see.”
Where was Hong Seo-yun’s guild? It wasn’t far from here. It had been a while, but finding the location was not difficult. The roads within Seoul were familiar to him. Furthermore, fortunately, there were a few 50,000 won bills in his pocket. When they were grilling meat recently, Hong Seo-yun had shoved some money into his coat pocket, and Ian had brought that out with him.
